”This was my first trip to Nantucket and probably my last. I found the hotel to be nothing special. The garden grounds were not neat and were filled with leaves. No one came to clean the room on our first day there, even though the cleaning staff was in the next room when we left for the day. I finally had to text them late in the afternoon to have someone clean the room. We couldn't find the hotel shuttle when we came in on the ferry, as they assured me they would be a van waiting. ”My second time in Martin House Inn. It is situated in the hearth of town and is close to the ferry, buses, shops and restaurants. Still the location is quiet and not crowded. Had a room with a shared bathroom which worked out fine. Common areas were charming. Enjoyed breakfast, afternoon treats, Friday cheese and wine and evening sherry or bourbon nitecap. Beds were comfortable and everything clean. Will return for shure!”

”The pool is heated and very inviting. It was very helpful to be able to use their bikes as well. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated. And the free coffee / OJ/ and cereals in the morning perfect for breakfast!”

”We enjoyed the charm of the inn. Each room had a uniqueness. The staff was very accommodating during all of our interactions. We took stars away because the self service coffee station was not maintained very well. There were shortages of items and at time it wasn’t always clean. Breakfast was not put until 8am which is late if you want to get an early start. Brewed coffee wasn’t available until 8 am either. Earlier than that time, there were only k-cups. The deck is only staffed until 8 pm...
