Booked for three nights over labour weekend for 3 adults. Was given room 14 2nd level, found room to be dated with a quick badly slap of paint done in the not too distant past. No remote for the air conditioning unit. Spoke to who I assume was the manager who found a remote and placed it in the room while we went out for food. Got back around 8pm and found the tv remote not working (no manual switches) and reception closed so no tv for the night.Turned out to be flat batteries for remote which as well as the air conditioner remote the batteries were held in with sellotape.First morning slipped over in bath room as floor was covered in water with it leaking through the light fitting from the room upstairs.No plumber available apparently as long weekend, Room was a 1 bedroom with queen bed and 2 singles in bedroom. Offered us a single room with 2 single beds and a rollaway bed for a disabled person.Then offered an equivalent room which would only be available the next day which I accepted, Manager said the would ring when ready.All this was done over the phone as we had to be else where and the reception does not open until 9am. No phone call and by the time we got back found the room had not been serviced and reception closed.Bucket with a towel in it was the solution for the water leak.Finally caught up with Manager at reception on day of departure who said the person on reception the previous day tried to ring me, they had not.Only a $50 refund for all the inconvenience.
