We absolutely love this beautiful motel. We arrived a little early after a drive from Taupo. The owner greeted us and let us park our car and suggested a cute little coffee shop while we waited. The room was amazing and we loved the art deco style. This motel is a total gem and highly recommended. One of the highlights of our North Island road trip

Excellent accommodation in a great location.
Our host could not have been more helpful or friendly and the room was excellent with great facilities. Everything was very clean and the Spa was lovely to relax in after a day of exploring in Napier.

10/10 Amazing stay! Location is perfect on Marine Parade, right across from the beach and a short walk to town center and restaurants. Room is huge, and the in room jacuzzi was awesome and very helpful after long hikes and bikes! Full kitchen. Free wifi and parking.

The hotel is excellent. Perfect location. Close to everything. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The hotel facilities are perfect. The decor is beautiful. It has everything you need for a stay: stove, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, iron, hairdryer. The hotel is excellent and I will stay there every time I return to Napier. I highly recommend it, you'll love it. O hotel é excelente. Localização perfeita. Perto de tudo. Os funcionários são excelentes e muito prestativos. As instalações do hotel são perfeitas. A decoração do ambiente linda. Tem tudo que precisamos para uma hospedagem: fogão , cafeteiras, microondas, geladeira, ferro de passar roupa, secador de cabelo. O hotel é excelente e toda vez que voltar a Napier ficarei lá. Recomendo muito, vocês irão adorar.

Our accommodation was a penthouse apartment. Friendliness and welcoming at reception, on checking in, showed us around the accommodation, which is just an extra touch that normally doesn't happen these days. Apartment very clean, spacious and good quality utensils etc. Very quiet and walking distance to city center. We have no hesitation in staying there again and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Napier.

Love the size with only 11 units means has a more personalized feeling to stays. Staff are friendly and professional, look happy. Owners and their managers are hands on. Walking distance to CBD shopping and eating places. Most rooms have ocean views.

This is a lovely Motel close to the Main Street and shops of Napier and with beautiful views across Marine Parade to the ocean. It also has a great walking area across the road along the main beach and park with swimming pool and kids playgrounds. The living area is spacious and separate bedroom large. The kitchen is very tiny with not much room to do much but heat food in microwave. We had 2 sets of fairly steep stairs to access the room so beware if you have any mobility issues. The owners were very helpful and pleasant and we would stay again.

Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. The ocean was just across the road and we had a nice view from our room. On the edge of town, it was an easy walk for shopping and dining. Our room was recently remodeled, beautiful, comfortable and very clean. I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area.

This is an outstanding motel. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, very well supplied, spacious, great location, and wonderful staff. We spent two nights there on holiday and I just cannot find enough superlatives to describe our stay at this motel. Napier is a great town, and the bike ride along the beach path is most highly recommended.

A small, nice motel right by the bay and walkable to all parts of town. Very comfortable even in the winter. Julie was very helpful finding us dining options in town and making our stay better. We'll stay there again next time we're in Napier.

A weekend break
We had a lovely stay at Motel De La Mer. Late check in was easily sorted and communicated. The room was very spacious. The in room Hot Tub/Spa was the perfect way to relax at the end of a busy day. Great location, a short walk to pretty much everything Napier has to offer
