    Nelikauden kotimme sijaitsee Sebago Covessa, Sebago-järven pohjoispäässä. Meidän lahti ei ole vain rauhallinen ja hiljainen, mutta harvinainen veneliikenne tekee nautinnollisemmasta uinnista, melonnasta ja muista vesitehtävistä. Olemme vain neljän mailin päässä moottoritieltä, josta löydät paikallisia ravintoloita (joista monet sisältävät elävää musiikkia), ulkobaareja, suuren julkisen ranta-alueen sekä veneretkiä.
    Kotimme on juuri kokenut täydellisen remontin. Meillä on kolme makuuhuonetta (2 queen beds, 2 kaksoset ja vyöryvä sänky), iso, avoin keittiö, jossa astianpesukone ja täysin päivitetty kylpyhuone. Lisäksi kodissamme on suuri mukava oleskelutila, jossa on sydän lämmittävä 10 jalan leveä takka. Olohuoneen ulkopuolella oleva aurinkohuone tekee vieraille mukavan poistumispaikan tai viileän makuutilan. Kahdessa makuuhuoneessa sekä keittiössä ja olohuoneessa on kauniit näkymät järvelle. Koko kodissa on uusia puu- ja / tai marmorilattioita.

    Keittiössä on kaikki tarvittava valmistautuaksesi kesäjuhliin; Jos haluat mieluummin ruoanlaittoa järven rannalla kuunteleessasi looneja, tarjotaan ulkogrilli. Veden ääreltä löydät yksityisen harrastehiekkarannan sekä veneen pelaamista tai veneen kiinnittämistä varten. Kulman takana on useita venesatamia, jotka tarjoavat venevuokrausta.

    Nauttimuksesi ja mukavuutesi vuoksi meillä on luettavissa kirjoja, pelattavia pelejä ja paljon polttopuita myöhään illalla nuotioihin tähdet. Meillä on myös LED-tv, kaapeli, wi-fi, DVD-soitin ja puhelinpalvelu.

    Omistamme myös kadun toisella puolella olevan kodin, jossa on kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta ja joka on puolen hehtaarin maa-alueella, loistava nurmikkopeleihin ja aktiviteetteihin.     Huomaa, että talosta veteen pääsee noin 2 portaita. Myös Sebago-järvi on Milfoil-valvonta-alue, mikä tarkoittaa, että pyrkimyksiä poistaa tämä tunkeutuva kasvi poukaman alueilta. Yleensä tämä ei vaikuta kanavan ja telakan lähellä oleviin alueisiin, mutta veneilyssäsi tulisi välttää alueita, jotka eivät ole lähellä telakoita ja kanavaa. Perfect space and great location

You can't beat the lakefront and dock at this house. It's perfect because it has a beachy area with shallow water AND deep water for swimming AND space to layout in the sun. We couldn't have asked for more. The house was the perfect size for us and stocked with everything we needed. We'd love to stay again!

Great quiet lake front property

We went up as two families and had a great time. The house is well set up for each set of adults to have their own bedroom and for 4 kids to share the kids room. (But be aware there is only one bathroom.) The common open space of kitchen, dining room and living room although not huge was plenty in the evenings for our group of 8. The house is situated a couple of stories above the lake and a set of stairs brings you down. Our group of 4 - 72 year olds managed just fine. The firepit is on this hill leading to the lake - most of the way down to the lake (bring bug-spray if enjoying in the evenings). At lake-front there was a narrow beach that the kids played in and we jumped right off the dock into the water. We wish there was a ladder to get back on the dock, but we either swam around (nice stairs to get from dock to beach) or we assisted each other to climb up onto the dock. The water here in the cove is calm and there isn't chop as there is on the big lake. We brought our 21ft boat and tied up right to the dock and enjoyed water skiing, tubing and knee boarding on the cove. Some in our group fished the pier and caught some cat fish. We also brought some floats that we attached to the dock to sit on to relax. Very peaceful and fun. The house was well stocked and the owners super responsive. Be aware that we didn't have cell signal in the house but did on the dock. Make sure you write down or download the entry instructions! The wifi from the house was great and reached the dock for us. For those boating we put in at Sebago Lake State Park and left our trailer there ($10/night). In front of the house there is space for 3 cars - but barely so our trailer wouldn't have fit with two cars. The owners are amazing and answered each question prior and during our trip within minutes.

Perfect Lake Vacation

Perfect small vacation home with everything you need including AC on those hot days. A few (lots but managable) of steps down to large dock. Such a nice quiet cove with easy and quick access to the big lake. Kids spent hours fishing and jumping off dock whilst we relaxed starring at the beautiful scenery (even saw the local bald eagle swoop town and grab a fish). Rented a pontoon boat from the very nice and informative people at Long Beach Marina. Although my first time as Captain of a boat had no issues on Sebago, through the lock too Long Lake and importantly docking. Numerous enjoyable times - watching the brave at Frye's Leap, just stopping the boat anywhere and jumping off into the very clear waters (no sharks here) and fabulous meals at The Freedom Cafe, Captain Jack's and Naples Lobster Pound. Certainly had the post vacation blues for awhile.

Dog friendly with private dock

Had a great time on Lake Sebago! Pictures accurately describe everything :) Having a private dock was amazing and key for docking a pontoon boat! Definitely enjoyed the stay with the pups.

Making the best of a postponed wedding

We had rented this house for a wedding that was supposed to be this weekend. (Corona said no) We decided to have a family long weekend anyway and this house did not disappoint. The open kitchen/living room is beautiful and great for visiting with my grown kids that I don’t often see. The dock is a great place to hang out and we loved the stairs down into the water. Sunset was beautiful. The stairway down to the water would be challenging for elderly but no problem for us. We would love to stay again!!

Comfortable, clean with beautiful lake view

We take a two week Maine vacation every two years, we rented this house in 2017 and again this summer. Dogs allowed and they had just as much fun as we did.

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The lake is wonderful, awesome dock, and house was fully stocked with good products. Lots of stairs to the water as described, but we thought it was good exercise for everyone including our dogs! We look forward to future stays!

Great for a Family Lake Vacation

This house is a gem and it's location is just perfect for families with children. My husband and I stayed there with our daughter and son-in-law and their 2 children ages 6 and 8 --Clean, updated with sleeping for 8 and a well-stocked kitchen --Beds very comfortable. Bed linens provided! --Window AC in bedrooms-- a godsend on those 95 degree days! --Full washer/dryer in basement -- CLEAN, updated-- No old "lake house mildew" --Sun porch for games/puzzles -- WiFi works without a hitch --Back porch with grill for eating outside -- Large dock to tie up the boat and a small sandy beach area with shallow water for young ones --Located on LIttle Sebago which is calmer than the big lake and nice for water skiing, though there is only a single path outlined by markers so you'll ski a straight shot, stop, turn around, and then pick up again. Worked for us just fine. --45 minute boat trip to Frye Island for dinner out/ice cream We are a family of runners and cyclists. The runners found this to be good place for hill workouts ;) yet the roads are narrow and cars zip along fairly quickly so wear bright clothing and lights. Same for cyclists. Local roads are in varied state of repair, yet we found plenty in fine condition for our road bikes. Really enjoyed the cycle around Long Lake via Sebago Lake State Park. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much, Kristen and Adam! Very grateful to be able to stay in such a well-kept home.

Great House and Location!!

The house was just as described. It had everything we could have wanted. The location on Sebago Cove was perfect...away from the heavy traffic and activity on the big lake. We were a group ranging in age from 2 to mid-fifties and it was the perfect family vacation for all. Kirsten and Adam are lovely and made us feel so welcome and at home. We wpild not hesitate to rent here again! PERFECT!

4th of July stay!!

Our family really enjoyed our entire week stay. The weather was in our favor. The home was as described and then some. Home was stocked with everything needed. Beds were comfy and clean. The dock was great and the bugs weren’t bad at all. We had fun two nights full of fireworks from neighbors. Our family plans to return for another family vacation!! No complaints from this family. Thanks again Kirsten and Adam!!!

We had a wonderful two weeks! Only 1 day of rain. Kirsten and Adam have done a great job making the house clean and comfortable. House is Equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing vacation.

Great property, location and furnishings

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The cove is quiet and mostly calm so easy to paddle board and kayak around. The dock is small but provides all the access needed for a boat, and the small beach area is sandy and comfortable to walk into. The house is clean and furnished beautifully and the vaulted ceiling makes it feel larger than it is. There is no musty camp smell. A huge bonus was that towels and linens were all included and were all good quality - loved not having to pack all those items. The deck is nice - but you need LOTS of bug spray to be comfortable. The neighborhood is nice for walking the dogs - quiet roads. Overall a great vacation house!

Cabin was clean, well maintained and had more than we needed.

Inside the cabin was great. The outside had a few minor issues. The grade in back is steep, not as bad as other properties on the lake but, many steps the the lake. The dock was slightly under bouyant and sank if two people stood on the same side. Not a major issue. We rented a pontoon boat from causeway marina. The dock was adequate for the boat and it served us well. There is a fire pit, we found the area around it too steep to enjoy it. Chairs fell over and it felt awkward while sitting. Would have used it more had we been able to sit around it. The hammock was nice.

Wonderful Stay

We recently stayed at this lovely home Mid-June 2017. We were all very pleased with the property and the amenities provided. My wife and I brought up our 9 month old and had a great time playing in the water and spent a lot of time on the dock and down by the fire pit. The cove the property is on is a wonderfully quiet section of the lake, and seemed like we were the only people on our private section of Sebago. Yes there are stairs going down to the water but if you look through the pictures you should have an understanding of what to anticipate. The house itself was VERY clean, and stocked with a lot of spices, water, and extras that we were not counting on but very happy to have provided for us. We felt right at home after our first night and enjoyed the privacy the property provides. The one minor point I would make is that it seems common for the lake to be higher at the time of year we stayed, and so the "beach" area was underwater. It actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise as our little one enjoyed floating in her tube and being able to kick her feet against the lake bottom, which was a clean sandy area because it was where the beach would have been. The owners were very quick in any questions I had, and bent over backwards to allow us to check in early and almost get a full extra day in our stay. I would absolutely recommend this rental to any family and friends and look forward to staying again in the future.

Beautiful lake! Disappointing house!

Sebago Lake is a beautiful lake. We had a wonderful time boating, kneeboarding, and swimming! And we had perfect weather. The owners were helpful and answered our questions. But we found that the pictures and description of the house didn't match up. The kitchen and bathroom were nice. But the kitchen does not have a well stocked pantry as described. It was very limited, so be sure to bring your own spices if you plan to cook. Also make sure to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels as the supply was very limited. All the decking is very dinghy and the room that is described as a sun porch is most certainly not a sun porch. It is a storage area with a fridge that doesn't work. There is no relaxation station raft as shown in the pictures and described in the email the owners send which was disappointing as our kids were looking forward to it. The bedrooms are musty. And the kitchen table only has seating for 4. And if you are bringing a boat from out of state make sure to buy a milfoil protection sticker for $20.00. We didn't know about this and received a $130.00 ticket from the game warden. The owners covered $50 of it but I feel they should have covered the whole ticket since they were unaware of this and didn't inform us of it. Overall we enjoyed the area very much but we were disappointed in the house and would not recommend it or return to this house.

Relaxing week on the lake!

The house was adorable, clean and well stocked with everything you could need for cooking. There were plenty of extra linens and towels and having the washer and dryer was a big bonus. Although it was a bit of a walk down to the water, we brought a little cooler of drinks and snacks down to save a few trips. There is a small beach which our 3 year old had a ball building sandcastles and finding frogs and fish. The milfoil did not bother us much as we enjoyed just relaxing on the floats, which were provided including an air pump. We did rent a boat from Causeway Marina and would highly recommend it although it was over an hour to get the boat back to the house and you have to go through channel locks so make sure you have cash. The area was great with plenty to do and places to eat. We mostly cooked at the house but had dinner at Rick's Cafe one night and the nachos were amazing! There are grocery, liquor stores and pharmacy within 10 minutes which was nice. The owners were very helpful and gave lots of tips of places to go and were always quick to respond. We had no problems but they seemed like they would have gone above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and plan to go back again next year!

Sebago Cove Vacation

Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc ? - Description was accurate for the layout. I would recommend listing the washer and dryer as an amenity as this makes a huge difference on what is packed. The Private Beach on Sebago Cove was a bit small, especially after the boat is docked. We needed to do some raking to clear the bottom. This camp is on Sebago Cove which is a quiet part of the lake. If you are renting a boat you will need to pass under a bridge to get to and from the larger part of the lake. Was the property clean and well-maintained ? Property was in good condition. Recent re-model of the layout was charming. I would recommend a few additional dining room chairs be added to accommodate the more than 4 guests. Did the owner provide good customer service ? - The owner checked in with me several times to see how things were going. Would you recommend to friends and family? - As charming as the camp was it is important to know (as the picture shows) to get down to the lake you need to take several steps down and up. Keep this in mind if you are traveling with toddlers and elderly. We travel with my in-laws and she was not able to do the steps and spent most of her time on the deck above. The fire pit is charming as well, but it is located at the bottom of the hill next to the stairs. What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike near by ? We vacation in the Naples area every year and have rented camps on Sebago, Long Lake, Panther Pond and many more bodies of water. We enjoy Naples and all the restaurants around. We rented our boat from Kettle Cover Marina Casco. We also have dinner at Rick's café and have rented water equipment from Captain Dingley's. The camp had a canoe and kayak for use which was an extra bonus.

A work in progress

To not give a five star review to really great people isn't easy, but this is about the property not the owners, and as the "renter" I would have appreciated a more accurate description from both prior reviewers and the owners so that I could have made a more informed decision. The pros: A nice and well equipped kitchen, a thoughtfully appointed bath, and comfortable well appointed bedrooms. The cons: This is a "high bank" property. This means its a real hike up and down from the water. Regardless of your level of fitness you'll find yourself thinking twice before heading down to make sure you've got everything.....Once you get down to the water you'll quickly learn this isn't the beautiful Lake Sebago, not even close....it's a mill foil choked back water that happens to be connected to the lake....The water depth at the midpoint of the dock is 5 feet pror to the lake being lowered in July as it is every year....According to the neighbor, the lake was soon to be lowered by a couple of feet which would put the depth at the dock at around three feet...While I think the owners are working diligently at improving the property every year, there is much to do: The back deck was mildew covered and dirty. A quick pressure wash would have gone far. The back deck's railing has no posts, only ballisters that are tacked on with a few finish nails. These nails are pulling out in many places and someone leaning against the railings is not safe. The grill is beyond a piece of junk. Old, rusted, no coals. It's ready for the trash. The fridge on the three season porch doesn't work well and it's freezer is loaded with mold. The dishwasher isn't workng. (a part has been ordered) The sun porch has no furniture other than 4 barrel chairs and a cast iron bench. There is much to be done on this property and even when complete it will never be a five star Sebago property, It's location just won't allow it.

Beautiful home, great location!

I have to admit that at first glance from the front of the house, I was concerned the house would not live up to my expectations. I was wrong! Once I opened the door and saw the open and updated kitchen and living room my concerns were eliminated. We are a family with five teenage boys and we had plenty of room and never felt cramped, plenty of space. The bathroom is also newly updated. By the dock was a hammock and a fire pit. Though we could jump off the dock to swim due to milfoil, there were plenty of other water activities to keep us busy. The owners went way above and beyond to fulfill our needs and requests! I highly recommend renting this property!

Wonderful Experience

The hot forecast in the city called for a couple's retreat to the cooler waterfront of Naples, Maine. We arrived to the house to find it clean and welcoming. The entire house looked was remodeled with a beautiful bathroom and a very new, open, and functional kitchen. Within hours we received a call from the owners to check that everything met our expectations and if we had any questions or concerns. We felt welcomed and truly at home from check-in to check-out. The outdoor space was divine. The cove is a quiet part of a typically busy Sebago Lake. The dock recieves great full sun, so bring your sunscreen! When you need a break, the shaded back deck will provide a reprieve from the midday sun. The back deck was a great place for the to sit and have a cocktail, grill a nice salmon fillet with a side of asapargus, and be at peace while looking over the water. During the evening we laid in the hammock while a fire burned in the pit. The setup of this property is great for entertaining while enjoying the many different amenities. The house met every need for a couple. The owners were responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We look forward to renting again when a weekend away is in order!

Absolutely GREAT place! Everything you need to enjoy a week or more at the Lake!

Although we had a few days of rain, we absolutely enjoyed this great place and will come again year after year! Despite the fact that we had a few problems with trying to get away for a long weekend, (our problems, not the owners), they did everything in their power to help us plan a much needed getaway and were helpful in letting us extend our vacation to include a Monday morning departure. As soon as we opened the door, we knew that we had booked the right place. The place is tastefully decorated with adequate, comfy furniture including cable TV and phone service. The bedrooms had comfortable beds that were covered with higher end sheets, comforters and pillows and the mattresses were so comfortable that we all slept late into the morning! Everything was spotlessly cleaned when we arrived and the cabinets were stocked with just about any condiment that you will need. The bathroom was spotless and had a great assortment of towels including beach towels. There is a hairdryer and other toiletries under the vanity. Basically, you don't have to bring anything except I noticed there was no iron or ironing board, but there is a full size washer and dryer if you don't want to go home with a bunch of dirty laundry! I don't even think I can say enough good things about the location! Just walk out the back door and you are at a beautiful dock and a little private beach that the kids would love! There is a place on the dock to tie a boat or just spend the day swimming and fishing! Sit out by the fire-pit or swing in the hammock or take the canoe for a spin! It is a beautiful, peaceful view. At days end, there is a barbeque to cook on and a picnic table to sit at if you want to eat outside. The owners are absolutely great and very responsive to our needs. They have a great list of things to do next to the telephone and the code for the Wi-Fi is listed here. ^You are very close to the Causeway where you can go for ice cream, food, sporting goods like fishing gear, water rafts and you can rent just about anything you need to have fun on the lake like a speed boat, jet-ski or a pontoon boat! The location is great. There is even a supermarket and a post-office within 5 or 6 miles. This place is great for families. Rent this place. You will not be disappointed!

A perfect spot!

This great house has everything you need for an amazing Maine getaway! It sits perfectly on a quiet cove, providing for amazing sunsets and easy access to the water for swimming or boating. Because of the ideal location, there aren't many others on the lake and it is extremely quiet, especially during the week. The house is great for families with kids, and provides easy access to Naples, Portland and the Maine coast. The owners are extremely responsive and did everything to ensure we had a great week. I highly recommend this great house!
