”The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. ”The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. Just a few minutes walk from a large public car park (on-street parking is very limited) and the large, sandy South Beach, the guest house is a short walk from the town centre. The check-in process was very straightforward. The room was clean, tidy and well-equipped - it even had a fridge!
