Everything was better than expected.
One very important thing. The hall carpet on the first floor was buckled in the middle and I tripped on it several times. I told the front desk and I was told that maintenance was told. I said you got some duct tape to tape it down so people won’t trip. I was told that they were not allowed to do things like that because of appearance and that was strictly not the staff’s job and he apologized.
I thought that was dumb of corporate to make a rule like that.
1. It is a liability, some old lady could trip on it and bust her face open
2. A piece of duct tape could have temporarily fixed the problem or a yellow caution cone placed over it and a sign could be put up that apologizes for the inconvenience.
Overall the room, food and staff were 5 star.
