Avoid this hotel. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and in my opinion the property should not currently be operating without significant cleaning, maintenance, and inspection improvements.
We booked through Expedia and immediately encountered multiple health and sanitation concerns upon entering the room. Some of the issues included:
* Hair in the bed sheets and even on a supposedly clean towel
* Strong moldy/mildew odors throughout the room
* Dead bugs behind the refrigerator and in corners
* Heavy dust buildup and generally poor cleaning throughout
* Sink that would not drain properly and leaked into the cabinet below
* Smoke alarm in the first room actively chirping from a low battery
* Stains, cigarette burn holes, and discoloration on bedding and walls
* Rust, grime, and neglected maintenance throughout the property
The overall condition of the room made us uncomfortable staying there due to basic health and cleanliness concerns. This was not a minor issue or a case of an older budget hotel — the property appeared severely neglected.
I documented the condition of the room with photos and videos.
I strongly encourage Expedia to investigate this property and seriously consider whether it meets the standards required to remain listed on their platform. Travelers should be aware that the condition of this hotel may not match reasonable expectations for cleanliness and safety.
