”This was a great place to stay. It was very clean. Each bedroom had a t.v. The beds are large and spacious. We used this space as a pastors’ retreat for us to have meetings and get some R&R. It was fantastic for this purpose. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to bring my family here one summer. ”

”The house is nestled back in the wood for a perfect feeling of seclusion while still being conveniently located to amenities around. ”If you are looking for a beautiful, wooded getaway with no other humans, this is it! A comfortable home with everything you need to cook, rest, and enjoy a break from your phone. Easy 1.5 hour drive from Birmingham Alabama. My family had a great time at the "secret beach"! I loved it as an adult, but my 7-year-old was absolutely enamored. I loved waking up to the view of the treetops from the master bedroom looking out on to the private balcony. Going to stay longer next time! ”

”The cabin and view were absolutely amazing! Beautifully designed, thoughtfully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We spent the day exploring Cane Creek and Dismals Canyon, then enjoyed a relaxing evening at the cabin. Grilled out with ease—there’s a grocery store just 3 miles away. Jennifer, the owner, was great with communication and made everything seamless. Peaceful, cozy, and everything we hoped for. We’d go back in a heartbeat!”

”The property was very pretty and well thought out. The house was also well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the low boat traffic location too! Best house we have stayed at yet! The only negative was there is one AC unit for upstairs and downstairs. It was chilly for the people downstairs and a little warm for the people upstairs. Still would stay there again! ”

”4 nights was perfect getaway! Property is very peaceful (especially in late October) with no one else around. Road in is long and dusty so be prepared to dust off or keep belongings in the vehicle. Recommend a SUV or truck s the last little stretch of road is rough. Overall we highly recommend!”

”The listing was very accurate based on pictures and had a very true lake house feel. Only complaint is about the next-door neighbor's dog. The red brick house had a dog that came over to our rental property and barked aggressively and blocked my grandkids and daughter in law from walking up the path to the house from boat ramp. The owner eventually came out and got the dog. We only had the one-time problem.”

”It was an average place. Nothing fancy. It is basically what you would think of as a cottage on a lake. Mismatched broken furniture. Dirty mattress on upstairs bunk bed. Didn’t see any bugs but I’m thinking I may have gotten head lice from the pillows. The skillets and stuff had to be scrubbed before we could use them. We did see some sort of water bug that’s to be expected on a lake. The internet is horrible I had to use my hotspot for a firestick on the tv. No one else’s phones would work on...
