”Excellent place to stay to start the Camino”

”Very clean, comfy bed, friendly service and a beautiful setting. The hotel is in an old wood and stone building, in the middle of the corn fields, with a view of the Pyrenees mountains. A very nice stay for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was good, continental. The only thing I would suggest is to put the coffee in smaller cups as it gets cold quickly, but that is the only thing I would change about my stay, it was beautiful! Merci! ”

”My stay was great. The little room #10 is clean and well appointed. It’s an accessible room, which is great. Although the water from the shower frequently went everywhere because the shower drain didn’t clear quick enough. You just learn to run a slower shower though :) Hosts were great and quickly fixed the batteries in the AC remote. Room was toasty and bed was super comfy. Easy walk to town and to the Pilgrim office for those on the Camino. Only a short walk to the start! ”

”Maison et cadre magnifiques. Une salle de bains plus séparée de la chambre et une température ambiante un peu plus confortable auraient approché la pleine satisfaction, tout en tenant compte des économies nécessaires dans ce domaine. Je reviendrai de toute façon. Merci beaucoup.”

”I really liked this place. Very modern. Automated check in. I had ground floor terrace room, abutting the church. Bery clean, very comfortable refuge from biting cold rain on the camino. Great”

”I was nervous about staying here after reading some negative reviews but needn’t have worried. I didn’t receive the door codes so called when I arrived and the woman I spoke to was really helpful - she sent me them on WhatsApp. She stayed on the phone to make sure I could enter the property. The room (3 single beds) was decorated nicely and was really clean. The beds were comfortable. There was a water dispenser in the hallway and maps etc. Both bathrooms were spacious and very clean...

”Nice hotel, spacious and home like rooms with small kitchen, spacious balcony, good pool area and especially superb location, close to Cote de Basque beach, restaurants, and also Le Grande Plage beach. Aircon would have been plus since it was very hot during couple days of our stay(38C), but i understood that high temps are rare in the area. Information could have been better (like need to topup toilet papers yourself, no cleaning during stay etc.), just happened to learn those.”
