Motellit – Nelson

”This motel is not recently renovated but the rooms are very clean and very well maintained. Rooms are also quiet unless somebody speks on the corridors. One Indian family was making dinner at the corridor with noise at 9.45 pm but it wasn’t motels false of course. Kept voices down as mentioned to them about the issue. The family running the place is very friendly. The city provided many things to see and we found a very good restaurant too, which was exceptional combination along our route from...

”After a long drive felt like the perfect spot to stay the night. Rooma were very spacious and you could park your car in front of your room, thia was very convenient for us as we had a lot of stuff. Manages to have the pool area all to ourselves which was nice! Only negative things were that that we had to ask twice for the pool door to be opened when it was supposed to be open already. Plus not enough hot water in the bathroom. However, overall stay was very nice! Would recommend it!”

”This property was excellent and the bathroom was new and beautiful - we got a king bed room with a walk in shower plus a separate bathtub bathroom. Central driving to all tourist spots and parking right out the front of our room - Room 53.”

”This place was significantly better than expected. We were passing by and just needed a place to crash for one night, so we booked a cheap motel. Really happy we chose Blue Lake Motel. Blue Lake is just far enough (like 200 meters?) to be extremely quiet. The room was actually really...

”This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier.”

”The room was spacious.”

”Clean room. We were in deluxe. Good value .”

”The room was old, and in need of a refurbishment . I’d like to say that it was clean and well maintained but it wasn’t . The sofa was so filthy you couldn’t sit on it, there was “unsanitary human residue” on the walls and I didn’t feel comfortable being in the room . The pictures on the booking platform are totally misleading and in no way are representative of the accommodation offerings. When we approached staff about this they agreed but said it was not their issue. I’ve raised a formal...
