”The Bear Den was the perfect accommodation for us. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans and appliances. It felt like a second home! Location was a short drive from Nelson but we appreciated the quietness and rural vibe. There was plenty of parking for our two vehicles. We would love to stay here again!”

”Lovely property with a fabulous view! Plenty of space and rooms were well separated allowing for privacy. Found everything that we needed for a one week stay. I was worried that because it was not air conditioned we would be too hot as they were calling for temperatures in the mid 30’s. In fact it was not an issue. Lots of fans in the house and by opening up the windows each night (the windows are all screened), and then closing them during the day we were very comfortable. The owners...

”Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO.”
