”We booked one of the signature tents because it looked so good on the pictures. Truthfully, it was a pleasant and unique experience. But, it felt like the owners fell out of love with their property and failed to keep up with maintenance. The windows need to be kept open with Velcro straps but they had mostly worn away or snapped completely - this meant we were unable to open some windows. Now the shower and bath were amazing. ”Check-in via lockbox was smooth and easy. I came to Powell River for work and I left before staff arrived and came back after they had gone for the day, but I didn’t need any assistance from them. My room was overall perfect for a work trip. The bathroom was nice and had lots of towels and sundries, the bed was comfortable, wifi was strong. I appreciated the ample storage space for luggage and clothes and it was also a bonus that I had a mini fridge in my room. The only thing I would note is...

”An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. ”The cabins were wonderful.I came into town for first aid training and stayed two nights. The owners responded very quickly, gave me all the information that was needed and the pictures reflected the cabin very well. I wish I had more time.\nTo feed the animals as there was food in the cabin for them. I found the bed very comfortable and the bath tub fit me well , i'm 6'2". The hot tub was great, but I was only utilize it one night because I was studying, thank you”
