”One star for restaurant staff, which did good job during breakfast and dinner. The hotel is outdated and pictures are a frame for a scam. The hotel reminds you of an old nature center / research facility, it is not a 4-Star Hotel and should not be marketed as one.”

Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet, liegt in einer schönen, ruhigen Umgebung und der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus war für uns besonders praktisch. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war ausgezeichnet – stets freundlich, aufmerksam und angenehm. Besonders begeistert waren wir außerdem von der Sauna, dem Dampfbad und dem Hot-Tub, die unseren Aufenthalt noch entspannender...

”We had the most wonderful stay at hotel Grimsborgir! The rooms were spotless and very roomy. The hot-tub was also a great addition and lovely to be able to use it in the evening after a busy day of exploring. The staff were extremely friendly and the food (both the included breakfast and paid dinner) was amazing with lots of options. The location was excellent in a nice quiet part of Selfoss. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights from our room!!”

”Hotel Örk was much more than we expected to 3 star hotel. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant, the breakfast was good. For one evening there were nice nature to explore and the geothermal park was nice small and budget friendly place to visit. Also here was grocery store on walking distance. I would spent the night here also again.”

”An amazing place to stay after a long, adventurous day relaxing in the sauna and hot baths is the perfect way to unwind. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options and is a fantastic start to the day. Complimentary coffee, cookies, and fruit available throughout the day are a wonderful bonus. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended.”
