We were unable to get in contact with the owners and didn't receive the home access code until 8:35 pm at night, by which time we had decided to find other accommodations. I spent the entire 2 1/2 drive to the beach trying to reach the owners, calling numbers that rang forever, and calling VRBO customer service and trying to send bank screen shots to prove that we made our payment, and an paying extra fee for I'm not even sure what. I was in tears by the time we made it to Lincoln City. Because VRBO was also unable to reach the owners, VRBO offered to refund our hotel stay for the evening.
