The grandkids loved the toys and outdoor play area. Lovely closed in yard so they were safe. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tub. Also shower gels, shampoo and conditioners were supplied. A very well equipped and clean house. The host was always available for questions with a quick response.

Clean. Plenty of space for two families of 4. Loced having the playground in the backyard. Kitchen stocked with essentials. Great location. Walking distance to both east and west schlitterbahn. Love love love!

Family Vacay!

We came with our kids and grandkids for a little family vacay! The house was perfect and the grands were enthralled with the secret rooms and backyard! The kitchen had all the things needed for serving up meals after a day at the waterpark!Spacious home for 8 and walking distance to schlitterbaun! We had a blast and loved the charm of the home. Hosts made it all simple to check in and reach if there were questions. If you’re planning a trip to New Braunfels, check out the Pecan Cottage! You’ll absolutely love it!

Such a cute house

Thank you for letting us stay at your super cute house. We had a wonderful time and celebrated my birthday and my twin grandsons birthday. it was in a good area and everything was close by. We really enjoyed the water park and the river.

Wedding home base

What a great location for our family home base for my daughter’s wedding in Cibolo. Had everything we needed. Lots of space for our family. Nice yard area for the kids and dogs. Beautiful home!

Perfect little Cottage

Pecan Cottage-Wurstfest

Great location! Walking distance to tube shute, Wurstfest & many restaurants. Very comfortable for 8 adults with lots of fun yard games & nice hot tub.

Centrally located and stocked

Pecan Cottage was everything we could’ve hoped for. We booked this place a year in advance because of the backyard play area! It was amazing to entertain the little ones! The house is perfectly located to anything New Braunfels and Gruene offers. Book it. You won’t regret it!

Very nice home with plenty of room.

We enjoyed our time there. Visited Gruene and drove into San Antonio to the Pearl Brewery area. The home was very spacious and comfortable. The only negative was driving on I-35 which is an absolute nightmare. This made the drive to San Antonio much more tiring than it would otherwise have been. And this is not an isolated occurrence. This also happened to us last year. The owners were available by phone and were very helpful. Whenever you stay here, be sure to bring coffee with you as well as kleenex and a lighter to light the propane grill and fire pit. There is a Keurig but no pods.

Perfect location for a float

Big house with lots of sleeping options. Back yard was very nice, we spent a lot of time out there. Driveway was able to park four cars which was great. Wonderful location! A quick walk to the Prince Solms Park entrance to the river, close walk back up Union from the last public exit, and not far from downtown locations!

50th Anniversary at Schlitterbaun

Excellent! Everything I dreamed about for gathering our family in a cool A/C beautiful house when we returned from Schlitterbaun each day!!!!! Such a lovely home!

Well appointed cottage walking distance to downtown

Traveled with family from East Coast for my nephews wedding and stayed at Pecan Cottage. It was clean and comfortable — outfitted with all we needed for a great stay. Close to venue and river/shopping. Enjoyed the relaxing backyard with games, hot tub and many seating areas - one with refreshing outdoor ceiling fan. The guys enjoyed using their tubes (house has many!) and river shoes to float on the river in our down time. Nieces (3&5)enjoyed the indoor toys and outdoor swing set and slide. Home cool and comfortable with nice beds/bedding. Great family getaway!

Location, Location, Location

This property was tucked away in a residential area, and a perfect location for our needs. The house was close to everything. We spent a couple of days at Schlitterbahn, one day floating down the Guadalupe River and ate at the famous Gristmill Restaurant in historic Greune. The house was adequate for all 11 of us and the home was clean. It was very hot and humid outside during our stay so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the backyard, but the kids enjoyed the playground and games in the backyard. I would recommend this house for a large family. We were able to cook a few meals during our stay. We walked to Schlitterbahn. We had to cross a street and walk through the parking lot, but the front gate was close and it sure beat driving and parking.

Great for families/young kids

If you’re looking for a great house with great amenities located perfectly to do all New Braunfels things (float, water park, shopping, and dining), this should be your pick. We chose this house to help with our very active toddler and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Melissa was communicative the whole time. When we do this again, we will probably use the same house!

Memorial Weekend Getaway

This house is extremely well appointed with everything you need for a fun getaway. My grandkids as well as adults loved it. Within walking distance of Schlitterban, the Comal River and Nagelan's Bakery!!! All the best things in New Braunfels. Very clean and private. You will have a great stay here.

Perfection

We booked this home for our family and some friends to celebrate my daughters college graduation. Our host, Melissa, was one of the best I have ever had. Her communication and customer service were excellent. The house easily slept 12 people. Great sitting area outside with a hot tub! The kitchen was perfect for cooking and enjoying meals! Walking distance to Prince Solms Park

Beautiful home in New Braunfels/ great location!

Our stay was nothing less than perfect! We were accommodated very well with prompt correspondence. The Hayes made the stay very welcoming with Wi-Fi passwords, children/ baby accommodations, and clear instructions for household amenities. We will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the new Braunfels area!

A Wonderful Way to Winter

We liked the convenience of the neighborhood. There are lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee hangouts, ice cream shops, Landa Park and Comal River, all within walking distance. I would walk our dog at least 3 miles a day exploring the town, meeting friendly people, checking out historic sites (make sure you visit the hardware store) & counting daily the turtles on the the rock below the dam. My husband swam in the Comal River frequently which is a comfortable 72 degrees year round since it is spring fed. It was a unique experience to see deer wander in the yards and on the golf course feeding on the grass. The house was clean with all the amenities we desired, and Melissa quickly responded to any of our queries. What a great way to avoid the bulk of the Wisconsin winter!

Perfect house for our family with young kids!

This place was great for our family with four kids 10 and under. So much to do in the backyard, toys inside, and of course the TV in their special room! Will definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in New Braunfels again!

Family Reunion Stay

We rented the home for our family reunion for thanksgiving. There were 15 of us total. Melissa was really responsive when anything popped up. Easy check in process and plenty of space for all of us to hang out. Close to downtown New Braunfels. It was a lovely space.

Great location!

This home is comfortable and has great amenities. The loft space with two twin beds would be great for kids, but would be a hard ask for adults. The booking and check in process was easy, and Melissa was very helpful with any questions. Three vehicles fit on driveway, and there's space for two more at curb. Bring your own bath soap or body wash as none is provided. The location is great, and makes it easy to walk to many New Braunfels attractions.

Good location for Wurstfest

Toilet off the kitchen needs a new seal, fill water runs too much. Also some kind of scrub brush is need in the kitchen to better clean the pans.
