Our family really enjoyed our time at Tranquil Vista! The location was perfect, close to Wimberley and Blanco but rural enough to be a peaceful getaway. We really enjoyed the pool and the views (the kids liked the frogs that hang out under the rocks). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. The only thing that could use improving is better cleaning of the floors and providing coffee to go with the coffee pot. We hope to come back again soon!

We loved the privacy and seclusion of this house, the amazing back porch views, big screens for movie watching, comfy king-sized bed, and large master bath tub. But the pool was our favorite!! We spent time in it every day. Beautiful drive to Wimberley, Blanco, Luckenbach, Gruene….. Can’t wait to return next summer. (But if you add a hot tub we will return this winter!! )

Cute house perched on a hill overlooking the expanse of hill country. Bed is super comfy and loved the luxurious bed linens.Only one negative. Raising the cleanliness of the interior. Found used tissues sitting on a thick layer of dust under the main bed. Smudges on cabinets and on all glass doors. Other than that. Great place.

Great weekend getaway with kids

Beautiful property with amazing views and a great pool. We enjoyed a weekend away from the city. Location was convenient to state parks for some morning hikes, then we enjoyed afternoons in the pool.

Beautiful Pool and Hill Country Views

We wanted to get away to a hill country property with a pool so we could enjoy the outdoors during the Texas heat, and this property did not disappoint. Awesome pool with incredible views. It was an absolute perfect match for what we were looking for to relax for a couple of days. Wish we had stayed longer, and we'll definitely be back.

Hill Country Getaway!

We wanted to plan a relaxing kick off the summer getaway! We arrived and never left the house, we enjoyed days swimming and lounging by the pool taking in the beautiful view! And evening playing games or watching a movie together. We very much enjoyed our time here. House was clean, kitchen was well supplied and we were able to have groceries delivered from the local HEB. Just keep your eyes peeled for scorpions 😵‍💫😵‍💫 they were everywhere

Beautiful View But Not Worth The Price

The location is beautiful and the house has fairly new appliances but the price was not worth just the view. The house was sort of clean but I would expect it to be immaculate for the price. There were dishes in the dishwasher and used bar soap in the master shower. Made me wonder how much cleaning the cleaning crew actually did before we got there. This was our first time staying at a property that was managing by a company and not the actual owner. We won't be doing that again. The pool was amazing but the weather didn't permit us much use of it. And it could really use some nighttime lighting around and/or in the pool area. There were vague instructions about filling the pool with water should it drop below a certain point. I'm sorry but I'm on vacation. I'm not there to tend to your property. Very poor management. And other reviews were spot on when discussing the lack of amenities available. There were the very bare essentials at the house. It was fine for just the two of us but if you have a larger group, be prepared to fully stock the house. And having to toss our garbage at the bottom of the long, steep, windy driveway is ridiculous. The furniture in the house has seen better days and should be replaced and the outside furniture is pretty but not comfortable. There was a smell in the 2nd bathroom of backed up sewage. Laundry room lights need replacing. Put simply, beautiful view but over priced.

Beautiful Property

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The house has everything you need to have a nice relaxing stay. Beds are very comfortable. Good location - we drove to Blanco and Wimberley for shopping and sightseeing. We hope to come back for another visit.

Secluded Hill Top

2020s pricing with 2010s style amenities

Pros: The pool and view are incredible. We had a wonderful time relaxing and playing in the pool. The beds and couch are comfy. Cons: Trash can was way down the hill (we were instructed to put trash in the laundry room, yuck) and there were not enough towels or basic supplies. It's been a while since we've been in a VRBO didn't have these basic supplies and for the price, we were surprised this house didn't. If you book here, be sure to bring your own beach towels, pool floats, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, and dish sponges.

Amazing Pool and View

It's a drive to get there, windy narrow hilly roads but when you get to the house...the view is STUNNING! The pool was absolute perfection! House was clean. Could use extra bathroom towels and kitchen towels. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The backyard view is amazing, peaceful & relaxing with a great pool! Wonderful stay with family & want to book again. I am glad I read the reviews as I brought pool towels, cooking & kitchen items. Pool definitely needs an umbrella as its wonderful but not when its sun, sun, sun! You will love the property!

Great secluded property

This is a perfect property for a nice get away. We were surprised at how secluded it is and how far it is from civilization. Had we paid more attention to the details, we probably would have opted for more groceries and fewer trips to town. Our group had a great time.

This house is well lived in, it has some good wear and tear inside. But if you like an amazing pool with an amazing view of the hill country, then this house is for you. The only negative thing I might have to say is they didn't have much in stock when it comes to the kitchen, like trash bag, foil, paper towels.
