When we arrived after business hours, we had a small issue with the door not consistently opening with the keypad. I contacted the management company's answering service and was quickly transferred to a very friendly Mgr. They promptly sent over maintenance to resolve the issue. I was very pleased with our experience and would visit again.

A great winter get away.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my second winter in the Nut House condo and once again it did not disappoint. The condo is clean, well appointed and beautifully situated. The balcony is very private with a view of the large green grounds facing the river where deer can be seen daily. New Braunfels Escapes is a great rental agency to deal with. Very professional and quick to respond to any issues you may have. However, over my three month stay there was only reason to contact them twice. I have booked this condo again for next winter. It’s like my home away from home.

Great place, comfortable bed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I had a wonderful visit at NB and this condo. It was very clean and well kept. There are nice shutters on the windows to keep the heat out and the bed was so comfortable! We enjoyed the Texas theme- it made us want to go out and enjoy the towns. We went wine tasting, whiskey tasting, shopping downtown in the unique shops and antique shopping. Then we ate fantastic German food at the Alpine Haus, Krause’s and Naegelins Bakery. We planned to tube the river, but ran out of time. We were celebrating our 33rd Anniversary and hadn’t been in NB for 15 years. We will be back soon and I will gladly rent through Vacation Rentals. It was very easy and everyone we talked to we very nice and quick to reply. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such a great area and right on the river. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back, the condo was exteemely clean and spacious and we were more than satisfied with the accommodations. The kitchen was a hit with us as they like to cook. The pools are small and can fill up quick but we weren't there for the pools. It will be even nicer when the property next door is finished as the construction is an eyesore and quite loud early in the morning.

Unit I203

All in all the trip was great, the staff was awesome to deal with and the property well kept. We have only two real complaints. The week was pretty rainy and the porch appears to have an issue with a section of rain gutter so it literally pours and puddles on the back porch. I would also strongly suggest the owners rethink the beds; we had to run out and buy mattress foam toppers just to be able to get rest / sleep. Both beds are metal, the prior unit were full wood frame beds and we slept fantastic!
