”This a place that is trying to get the Brighton area up and revived. The area could be amazing . I hope some investors come revitalize this area so that small business owners can thrive. Bedroom was clean, and Bed was comfortable kitchen and bathrooms. Look to be newly remodeled the rest of the area as in communal areas are a bit outdated.”

”Good location, very clean and nice hotel.The dinner at the restaurant was delicious! Only reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars: service, room and view from the window. My first room was very tiny with super limited space for big luggage. A wonderful receptionist gave me a lot better room but the window was facing a parking lot, also the fridge in the room was very loud. I otherwise liked all the workers except one older woman at the reception, she was rude and lacking some customer service skills...

”I stayed in Bealey Quarter for 2 nights. Luckily I was out all days and only came to this place for sleeping. The place looks nice from the outside but the smell of food is overwhelming in the Lodge and the room smelled like mold. My fridge was leaking so I had to put a towel under it. After reporting it to the staff they did nothing, so they don’t seem to care that the place is falling apart. Shared bathrooms were in a surprisingly good shape. ”The staff was superb. Our luggage did not arrive from Auckland and Air New Zealand had it sent to the hotel. The front desk had it waiting in our room for just us. The actual room was beyond what we expected, coming from the US and not knowing the hotel location, it exceeded what we thought. Two beautiful rooms that were well-appointed with a porch with chairs Snd outdoor tabke awaiting our last evening‘s coffee.”
