Peaceful beautifully appointed cottage in gorgeous community with beach access

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here and it was just perfect. As the reviews say, the cottage feels spacious due to the high ceilings and thoughtful layout. My favorite part is the large sunroom overlooking a deck that spans the whole cottage and offers pastoral views. Frank has thought of his guests’ every need, and you can’t beat the location between New Buffalo and Union Pier. Easy access to everything. We will be coming back!!

Perfect Getaway!

Two friends and I rented Frank’s cabin over Labor Day weekend, and it was the perfect spot for a few days of rest. The cabin is lovely, the beds and comfortable, and the deck is equally great for morning coffee or evening drinks. There’s easy access to the beach, and the stretch of road into town is perfect for walking/jogging. Would 100% stay here again. Thanks, Frank!

Perfect cottage for a weekend getaway at Lake Michigan

I loved my stay at this cute cottage! The place was located in a safe and peaceful neighborhood with plenty of interesting destinations to explore nearby. The cottage was only a few minutes away from a private beach perfect for sunset views. Frank was fast to respond and accomodating. I would definitely stay there again in the future!

What a beautiful space!

Frank's house couldn't have been more perfect. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, well-stocked and the perfect place to spend a relaxing few days on the lake. I generally bring a box of kitchen things when I go stay at any rental property -- knives, skillet, oil, salt, coffee, a corkscrew -- some essentials. I was beyond impressed at turn-key the kitchen was. And Frank was an incredibly polite, attentive and accommodating host. I would love to stay here again!

Pleasant stay in New Buffalo

Lovely cottage on the edge of the wetlands. Perfect for our quiet retreat. We particularly enjoyed looking southeast to observe the planets and stars while getting glimpses of meteors.. Cottage is well provisioned, and beach access is nearby. I expect to rent there again, and enjoy the location even more on summer weekdays and during the off-season.

Wonderful!

My now husband and I could not have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate our wedding weekend. The cottage was clean, quiet, and so much more spacious than advertised! We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to recommend to others visiting Union Pier!

Perfect little bungalow!

Just few moms that wanted to get away for the weekend. This was a perfect little spot! Super close to the town and beach but perfectly tucked away from crowds. New Buffalo is a great little beach town.

Stay July 2020

I recently stayed on Frank's property with my family of 5, and had guests for 1 night (my parents). We had a great time. Frank's descriptions are accurate and I think the place is a little larger than the feeling the pictures create. It was quiet with a nice view out the back. The neighbors are very nice. The place was clean and had all the amenities advised of. No real complaints to speak of. If you want to quibble, the close beach (Peach lane) is only a 5 minute walk. It was closed due to high water, and just recently opened. When I finally went, the stairs were being painted. Stupid Association. Parking is pretty limited but if you're just a family or 1-2 car scenario it is no big deal. Frank took our calls and answered all our questions pretty much right away. Bottom line: I enjoyed my stay and I would rent the place again. Thanks, Frank.

Cottage nestled in nature

The cottage was a perfect little getaway. The back view into the marsh created a setting where we relaxed for dinner or drinks. My favorite part about this place was the patio. Mornings having coffee sitting in the back and and at night watching the constellations listening to nature. Some nights you could hear the lake tides. The owner Frank did an impeccable job of making the cottage feel like a home. He had every detail laid out so you wouldn’t want for anything.

Charming Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Everything was clean and well organized. Communication was great- very responsive. Loved the location - quiet little cul-de-sac close to the beach and convenient to town. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway

Our stay was very pleasant! The view out back was amazing--we saw deer and many birds (even swans). Frank's cottage was very clean and comfortable. Looks exactly like the pictures. Would definitely recommend.

Great beach cottage

This is a great spot for a weekend beach trip, the house was very clean and comfortable and just a short walk to the beach. Fantastic back patio and back yard that is on the edge of a river preserve with lots of nature and wildlife.

Lovely Cottage

Everything about this cottage was wonderful. Well equipped, very cozy, lots of space, and we even had a family of deer stop by in the backyard. We very much enjoyed our stay, and I would highly recommend this place.

Sister birthday weekend a success

The weather wasn’t perfect, but we found plenty to do. The deer visited us every day. What a magnificent view! Frank left us a welcome basket with a Happy Birthday balloon! He was available for questions when I texted. The beach was lovely. The beds were comfortable. We loved the view from the living room and deck.

Cozy home for a girls weekend in New Buffalo

This BnB was the perfect size for our group of 5 and super cute. The house is beautifully decorated and the gigantic tree growing out of the deck is a marvel. The house was equipped with everything we needed (and then some) and Frank was very responsive whenever we had a question. One thing to note is that there is no WiFi at the house which shouldn't have been a problem, but one person in our group had some unexpected work to attend to and the lack of WiFi/ weak cell signal made that difficult

Quiet and nice

Nice quiet property! Likely see deer come from the nature preserve in the morning while sipping coffee if you're quiet! So close to New Buffalo, which is very nice. Nice place.
