Such a beautiful farmhouse surrounded by apple & peach orchards! The house is large and comfortably fit our two families. The kitchen is a great gathering place to hang out. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the morning and then evening by the firepit. The large game room with ping pong table, arcade games, futon was a big hit with the kids. Beds were comfortable and AC kept most of the house cool. It's the perfect location to visit Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo and Double JJ Resort waterpark - both are only a couple minutes away from the house. Lake Michigan is also less than 10 mins away, where there is a great lil beach spot by the mouth of the river with amazing sunsets. A cozy, quiet, charming country home!

Family Vacation

This property was a great location to go to the Lewis Adventure Farms and Silver Lake. I do wish the house would have been a little cleaner. Also the bed that we slept on was not the most comfortable, but I cannot say if that was true for all of them.

A great place to unplug

The house was charming and well stocked. Great place to stage family dinners, play board games, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, play some chill basketball, etc. we found that we spent more time than expected at the house. We cooked together in that great kitchen, and the dining room was perfect for us. Things to know before going in:-Its an old farmhouse. The stairs are steep, the beds squeak, the doors and knobs squeak or rattle too. It's part of the charm. It's not tremendously loud. -We bought a basketball at the Walmart 20 min away and it ended up being one of our favorite activities to do together-

Great house to celebrate my 77th birthday along with our two great granddaughters birthdays. Convenient location to Lewis Farm Adventures and close to Silver Lake. Plenty of room for everyone. Our host Gina was great. She promptly answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Loved this place for wedding weekend

Stayed with bridesmaids and bride and used the ample space for hair and make up the day of the wedding and for out of town guests after the wedding. It’s a beautiful space!

Wonderful

Our stay at the Farmhouse in New Era was wonderful. It was charming, orderly, and peaceful, located in the perfect setting. We were blessed with many special and memorable moments during our week here! Our family enjoyed getting up early to see the sunrise lighting up cloud-like waves of Spring blossoms in the cherry orchards. It was otherworldly in description! In addition, it provided a beautiful setting for our daughter's bridal shower, wedding photos, and served as our home base for her wedding at the New Era Wedding Barn. The Spa tub was a special treat, especially with the skylights, which were ideally situated to view the moonlit sky and the Milky Way. Ping Pong was a blast! Communication with our host was excellent, and we are grateful for her help with some unexpected plumbing and microwave issues. We highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to our next stay.

Very nice Farmhouse

I stayed with 4 of my friends from HS .. all of us 66 years old. The kitchen area is awesome and dining area nice and open with a large table. Living room was nice too. when renting, keep in mind that this is an old house that has been updated. The steps going upstairs were a challenge, very steep incline but we made it. Sheets were old (time for new ones) and maybe provide more towels but all in all it was a nice place to stay. Best part .. the host did not ask us to clean up much .. just put used towels by the washing machine and put dirty dishes in the dish washer and power it on. Didn't even need to empty the trash. Most places make you do that. Definitely recommend staying there.

Annual dune trip

We have 6 adult children and our two grandchildren as well as our niece and nephew along for our annual dune trip. We were able to accommodate everyone with no problem. We also had plenty of room to park our trucks and trailers. Had a great time.

Family fall outing

We held our family golf outing here in September of 2023. There was 6 adults and 2 teenagers. It wes great to have queen beds in 4 bedrooms for the adults and the teenagers enjoyed the entertainment room to play and sleep. This house served our needs very well as we golfed nearby.

Beautiful farmhouse.

We had 3 wonderful days in this very beautiful farmhouse. It is a short drive to the impressive Silver Lake Sand Dunes, where you can rent sandboards or drive your own jeep over the sand dunes. Swimming in Lake Michigan was wonderful. The kids loved the ping pong table and the gaming console in the house.

Property met all our needs and the location was incredible. Beautiful fruit orchards and farmland, with lots of attractions nearby. Lewis Petting Zoo is A+, along with Silver Lake Dunes and Cherry Point Market. Lots of fun!

The Farmhouse.

The house is very well put together, easily assessable to items we needed. The stairs are a little steep for kiddos but the handrail helps a lot, once you get upstairs it's beautiful. My family enjoyed the game room and the beautiful views,whirlpool tub is a plus 5* My family and I will definitely be back.
