Loved the inn and the owners yvonne and paul were delightful and accommodating...wonderful having breakfast on the porch overlooking the gardens, birds, and nature ..will definitely return soon....

The room was charming with a very comfortable bed and large modern bath. Each morning our hosts offered a delicious breakfast on the screened porch with views of the flower gardens and pond. We loved the calm ambiance of this historic home. The location is perfect for visiting New London and Sunapee.

All of the 5 star reviews are correct ... this inn is amazing! Yvonne and Paul are lovely. It is clean, cozy, and beautiful. I am not usually a B&B person, but this experience might change my mind. Really just a wonderful place to stay and explore.

Loved the morning conversations with Paul and Yvonne. Breakfast was great. The inn was very peaceful and quiet. Bed was so comfortable! We enjoyed the pool table in the tv room. Would definitely recommend!

King Hill Inn & Kitchen was, in a word, phenomenal. We stayed at the property for the Procter High School graduation, and I could not have been more impressed with both the facilities and the breakfasts that were offered. The owners of the property were incredibly professional and friendly. I recommend this property without reservation.

Beautiful surroundings! What a delightful find! I fyou are looking for a quiet, serene place, this is it! As a single woman traveling alone, I felt very safe here. And the breakfast!! OMG! You have the luxurious benefit of a stellar chef to prepare a PERFECT breakfast. I would have liked to have stayed longer just for the breakfasts!!

Beautiful setting for this charming inn. The Inn Keepers were the perfect mix of professional and friendly. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Proper bathrooms (with good water pressure). Immaculately clean. Delicious breakfast, served on the back terrace overlooking the stunning garden -- what a lovely way to start the day! This inn is a gem, and I highly recommend!

I'll Be Back, For Sure

I've traveled the US a lot since I was 10 years old. Everything about this venue was wonderful...location, grounds, cleanliness, history, food and more! But the best part of my visit was the proprietors. Paul and Yvonne made my stay extra special. I really did not want to leave! And, I hope I can return there next year for my next family reunion in New London (FYI...I'm from Ohio).

Delightful, reasonably priced inn near New London

This is a no-frills inn on the edge of New London with very reasonable prices. The place is very well run, super clean, friendly, in a quiet location, with an excellent breakfast. Quality furniture and tasteful decorations. Paul and Yvonne are delightful people. Paul is a superb cook with deep experience running several high-end restaurants in Boston. He came to NH to pursue his passion for fly fishing. We only saw a couple rooms (you should choose the garden view if possible) but they have everything you need.

Paul and Yvonne are warm, attentive hosts. I enjoyed chatting with them and they were unfailingly attentive. Lovely historic house, tastefully updated, on a well-tended property. My room was bright, spacious and impeccably clean. The common areas are comfy and homey. Nice breakfasts are served on a screened porch overlooking the patio and garden. “Classic New England experience,” as stated in an earlier review. I wouldn’t change a thing!

This is a very unique B&B located about 5 mins by car to the little downtown area. Very quiet and quaint location with beautiful gardens and a small pond. The house itself is from the 1800s and has been restored/kept up beautifully. There's a lot of art and things to look at down the winding hallways to the guest rooms. The rooms do not have TVs or other hotel-ammenities like a fridge or coffee. It's genuinely just a bed and a bathroom w/ limited toiletries/soap. Very clean and bright with plenty of space. The rooms do not lock on the outside so it was a little offputting to leave all of our things in a room that was unlocked. The lock on the inside was secure so once inside, we felt safe. This is a VERY quite and "low-key" place so if you're planning on being loud or coming and going throughout the night, I would look elsewhere. You're also not allowed to have food in your room which was a little challenging for "after hours" when you can't really go anywhere else to eat. All in all if you're looking for a clean, quite, no frills stay - this would be the place!

We had the pleasure of staying at the King Hill Inn & Kitchen 7/31-8/2/2020 and I can honestly say that our visit could not have been more pleasurable! The grounds are beautiful, the room was very comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, the breakfasts were delicious and our hosts were the best! Would definitely stay here again when in the New London area. Loved it!!!!

Paul and Yvonne are incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to anyone as this is a beautiful area, slightly outside of town close to a golf course and a great restaurant/pub down the road.

Paul and Yvonne were there for every step of our stay. From the comfort of our room, to the amazing breakfasts, it is obvious that they have a passion for hospitality. We were able to meet some of the other family members who were there and left feeling like we had become friends. Thanks for a great stay!

Serene and relaxing rural N.H. inn near Sunapee.

Great refurbished historic inn with outstanding chef/owner. Welcoming and serene setting close to New London, NH. Stunning landscaping viewed from the rooms and dining room. Friendly and attentive staff; but never intrusive!

Great B&B

My Wife and I stayed here during a conference nearby, and everything about King Hill was terrific. The owners are extremely welcoming and plain awesome. King Hill is a wonderfully refurbished old farm house on a quiet plot of land, operated by a terrific husband/wife duo. An amazing breakfast is included every morning - a great way to start the day! The room and bed were comfortable, cozy and quiet. We hope to stay here again soon!

Highly recommend!

We had a most enjoyable stay. Owners were very attentive and accommodating, even offered their garage to store our motorcycles when there was a threat of rain! Morning breakfasts were delicious. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful B and B!!!

The owners of this wonderful B and B, Paul and Yvonne, are so welcoming! The Inn is a restored 1830's farmhouse colonial with many original details. Each bedroom has it's own updated bath. The bed was so comfortable, the windows could be opened for the nice cool evening air. There was a window a/c but we didn't need it. Bathrooms have all the niceties of a hotel - soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, fluffy towels. Breakfast was home cooked - the blueberry pancakes are the best! This is a small inn (only 5 bedrooms) with a great atmosphere!! Highly recommend it!!!

Great Lodging Choice near New London, New Hampshir

We enjoyed three days with Paul and Yvonne at the King Hill Inn & Kitchen. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the meals were fantastic and they treated us like family. The provided us with helpful insights about the local area and also about a day trip to Boston (where to park, directions, what to do, etc.). The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well maintained.
