”We recently stayed at this hotel after a long 13-hour drive from San Antonio, Texas, with our family of four. ”This is a charming place for a motel type lodging. Although it’s on a busy road once you walk back onto the property there are lots of trees and birds and the buildings and grounds are very nicely maintained. The room was very quiet. I would recommend two places to eat a very short walk away: Matisse Cafe (lovely place and great French pastries), and The Pantry. Also the Ikonic coffee shop up the road is funky and good brews.”
