”Check in was easy and bed was comfortable. The room was much more run down that I was expecting at $160 a night. Chair cushions were torn, the bathtub was stained, the toilet paper holder broken, and the bathroom fan sounded like it was about to fall apart. Plus the tv remote’s batteries were dead and the mini coffee pot didn’t work. For a “fall asleep on arrival and leave first thing in the morning” stay it was functional but wouldn’t want to stay longer than that.”

”Two things I felt were needed: 1) better lighting outside along the road up to the Atlas. At night time, it is quite dark and the house on the right where we turn was lit up but not the hotel office. It was confusing. 2) A much bigger sign is needed for the hotel office. Again at night is when many guests arrive and once you are inside I had to figure out their old system of picking up the phone and wait for someone to come check me in. ”

”We were in New Paltz for our grandaughter’s graduation from SUNY NewPaltz. What a perfect location to stay at! It is so close to restaurants, shopping and to the college. The home was immaculate, with very comfortable beds, in a beautiful woodsy setting. We all had a wonderful weekend! The host was very responsive to our messages too! Definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed at in our travels.”
