”The superior room was comfortable and led out to a huge quiet garden. But the decking and furniture outside were rotten. The bathroom had an unstable toilet and a difficult shower. Insulation was poor. Presentation on approach wasn’t great, with dead plants everywhere. Having said that, we had a great night’s sleep and staff were friendly and helpful. Location great.”

”Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. ”A beautiful charming boutique B&B in Old Town Hastings, plenty of ambiance! Really wonderful 3 night stay with partner, we stayed in room 7 which is on the top floor - if you are very tall the height of the room may be an issue although was not for my 6ft 1ins tall partner. We chose room 7 as it has a deep roll top bath with a shower attachment. B&B is very close to wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and all the local sights. Breakfast was wonderful, good options for all including vegetarians...
