”We had a wonderful stay at the Peacock House. The kitchen was well equipped, clean and there were plenty of towels for everyone. The beds were comfortable. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive. We had no issues. ”

”When three businessmen travel hours to come into town, they expect to be able to check in at the appropriate time. When they arrived, they were informed that the house was not cleaned and will not be able to get in until 4:30. They were also informed to take their shoes upon entering the house when they did check in. Once they walked on the sticky floors, they immediately put their shoes back on. Really property manager or owner???? Will never book this again.”

”Property was not bad. Dining room did not look like it was vacuumed before we got there. There was old food in the fridge. One of the bedrooms had no working outlets/lights.”

”Listing states "air conditioning" but this is supplied by window units located in just 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The neighborhood is also incredibly rough, however there is a bus stop right outside so you aren't stuck there. Overall the process was smooth, the house was clean, well supplied, and everything was newly installed. Recommended for travellers who can handle the neighborhood and want to save some cash on lodging.”

”Upon arriving at the property, it was not adequately clean as there was urine in the toilet, stains on the bedding, previous guests articles of clothing, and debris in the backyard. There was also significant safety concerns as the front porch tile was loose along with there being no marker to indicate a drop between the edge of the property and the sidewalk which caused me and my sister to slip in both spots.
