You will leave humming.

This is one of our newest additions for the Avenwood Cabins lineup! You will feel right at home in The Hummingbird. Upon entering, you will be pleased to find our beautiful double sided fireplaces and the queen bed will get you feeling cozy right away. Step onto the porch for a soak in the hot tub, make your favorite meal on the charcoal grill, or relax with a fire. The perfect little getaway cabin to unplug and unwind!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Even though there were other cabins, the property felt wonderfully secluded. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and we appreciated the proximity to the trails and caves. The hot tub was not only clean but also easy to use, adding to our relaxation. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Great stay! Easy to get to with it being so off the main road. Cabin was the perfect size and had all the small kitchen fixings needed! Great view of the wooded area from the porch and hottub. Definitely going back abd bringing our dog!

Dirty linens upon arrival, including body hair. When I called it was blamed on a faulty washer. Pipes froze, when I called I was accused of not keeping the place warm enough over night. We had only been there for 12 hours at this point, and we had a fire going all night. Shower ran out of hot water within 2 minutes, and leaked all over the bathroom floor. 1 fork in the drawer, no paper towels or napkins. The fireplace was the only enjoyable aspect of our short lived stay. Would not recommend.

Hot tub was definitely a favorite. It was a nice get away for the weekend. Indoor fireplace was great and they had firewood to buy right inside the home which was convenient. Would stay again and much recommended.

Wasn’t as special and secluded as we were expecting. Communication was horrible and we just barely got the door code in time for our arrival. They also never got back to us about whether or not there was coffee and filters anywhere and I’m assuming there wasn’t so… why have a coffee maker? There was a basket of dirty linen right when we walked in and another persons pj pants left on the ground. The bed was also not super comfortable and there was only one pillow for each of us. The hot tub was for sure the biggest highlight of the stay

Beautiful little cabin. Not far from Logan or Oldmans Cave. The fireplace was to die for! Even had a very nice fire ring outside with seating and a bbq grill. Very peaceful where these cabins are located as well. Bed was clean and comfy! Make sure you are in a SUV or a truck due to terrain. I did have issues turning around my truck at the end. Plus if the people at the end park awkward it was a couple point turn to get back out of there. Only thing I think may need improvement was sadly the floor....within 20 minutes of unpacking and moving around my socks were brown on the bottom.

The stay was amazing, the host was so sweet, we will be coming back! It’s perfect for two and the cabin was very clean. The hot tub was a little foggy, but otherwise it was a perfect and cozy place to stay!

This place was cute and cozy! I wish we would’ve known that the fireplace was wood burning so we could have bought logs in advance. Other than that we loved it. Also the driveway is gravel and I recommend if you have an SUV take that instead of a little car. Again this place is AWESOME! There aren’t any outdoor photos but let me reassure you, it’s adorable. It’s a navy little cabin and the deck on the back is private and has a nice hot tub and chairs. I loved it and will be staying again!

My husband and I stayed for two nights and this cabin provided the exact recharge we were needing. The hot tub was clean, check in was a breeze, it was an easy drive to the caves, and the seclusion was perfection!

Few & - It was a decent spot to lay your head at night & the hot tub was def a huge highlight of the space for sure! Wish there was extra bedding & towels. No paper towels provided. Somewhat clean. Had mystery dried something on the headboard. Gross. The shower had soap scum & it flooded the floor bc wasnt sealed properly. Make sure you bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid & lighter! I left my bag & fluid, but not provided by management. Also seemed sketchy pulling in. Definitely prepare to turn around on gravel!! Even the truck needed to go into 4wheel drive.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. Upon check in you will have to call the host directly to obtain the pin for the door. The cabin was very clean and maintained however there was a pretty bad gnat problem in the bathroom. Mostly confined to the sink, however did make their way out into the kitchen area so we had to make sure we had our food secured. The cabin we had was the same layout to the photos and same amenities however it was not the same cabin as pictured. The hot tub was great. I will say parking was not the best, but we made it work. It was a very quiet, peaceful and romantic experience and we would definitely book again!
