Spent 4 nights celebrating our son’s graduation. The hotel was a 5 minute walk away from Times Square. Times Square Eatery, Chik-Fil-A, Little Italy Pizza, Cinnabon/Auntie Annie’s, and a 7-Eleven were all conveniently just outside the doors. The hotel was mostly quiet with the exception of 1 night with noisy neighbors but a call to the front desk helped to stop it.
The only negatives would be the lack of outlets in the room and the fact that our room was not ready at the 4pm check-in. Most of the outlets are covered by the beds or mirror, leaving just one easily accessible on in which we could only plug in 2 items. The desk clerk tried offering a lesser room that was “ready now” which I thought was an odd offer. Why would I opt for a room with smaller beds than the room that I paid more for just because it was ready? The room we paid for should have been ready. We were not checking in early either. We were told that we’d get a call when our room was ready but after waiting almost 40 minutes, went back up to the desk and it was ready. Not sure why we didn’t receive a call.
