We offer the convenience of early check-in and late check-out when available. We will notify guests when the house is cleaned, sanitized, and ready for check-in, usually around noon. The laundry room is fully equipped with a washer and dryer, along with complimentary washing liquid and dryer sheets. You'll also find games conveniently stored in the laundry room.

The backyard porch is screened in, allowing you to relax outside at any time. It is equipped with a hanging heater and two fans to ensure your comfort.

In the backyard, you'll find swings for your enjoyment. The firepit is a perfect spot to unwind, and we provide starter logs in the laundry room for your convenience.

The pier is a highlight of our property, complete with lights, ample seating, a hanging heater under the gazebo, and two fans. Relax on the pier and witness breathtaking sunsets. Feel free to tie your personal boat to the pier during your stay.

For fishing enthusiasts, we offer three fishing rods and four fishing poles, along with a tackle box, fish cleaning knife, and fish cleaning table.

Here are some fishing tips: Breams or bluegill and crappie tend to gather under the cypress trees on both sides of the pier. Use worms or crickets as bait, ensuring the tip of the hook is not showing. Perch, bass, and bowfin prefer shiners (minnows) or crickets. Catfish and alligator gar are not picky eaters and will go for anything. Lake St. Joseph is home to a variety of fish species.

In the town of Newellton, you'll find stores such as Family Dollar, Dollar General, and Britt's Pharmacy, offering food options since the nearest grocery store, Mac's Fresh Market in St. Joseph, is 14.9 miles away.
