Best Vacay Ever!

Large, Fun, & Well Stocked. No bikes and hard to find Wifi Password.

This VRBO was even nicer than we expected! It feels large with a thoughtful layout. The common space downstairs makes for friendly hangouts, and it's easy to cook a big meal. It was well stocked with towels, soap, instant coffee, and the little bits that you need to cook a full dinner. The walk to the beach is quite short! (there is a direct side-walk) We saw dolphins! The only drawbacks were 1) no bikes. The post didn’t say how many, so I called, but never got a response. 2) The wifi password was hard to find. It wasn’t anywhere physically in the house, nor was it in the intro check-in email. When I called, the office was closed. Turns out, it was in one of the online reference documents, but it was hard to find. Overall, a good stay!

Close to the beach

Nice beach access and has a front yard that has a pony wall (1/2 wall) with no gate - perfect for little kids as they cannot wander off. Its a fun place, but parking is a mess if you have more than one car.

Nice getaway

The location is a super close walk to the beach. It was a little further to the pier. We walked it some for excercise, but drove too. Our beach was amazing!! They have plenty of chairs and boogie boards in the garage. The condo itself was less updated than it looks in the pictures, but it was fine. The supplies are sufficient, but nothing extra. The exact number of sheets, no extra pillows or blankets for laying on the couch. The couch is different from the pictures. It is nicer and new. However it is curved and leather, so not as good for sleeping. We were a bit put off by the big red and black sign posted on the fridge listing fines for any infraction. It was very unwelcoming. I guess they have trouble with partners, but as a family on vacation we prefer the notebook of friendly instructions you get at the other VRBOs I’ve stayed at. Overall we had a lovely vacation, and loved Newport Beach.

Good times....

The only hiccup we had was getting into the garage, which was easily remedied via their customer service. Otherwise, it was a great location to host a sleepover birthday party for our daughters and their friends. Restaurants are conveniently located nearby and the beach is an easy walk. Our daughters and their friends had a great time and we couldn't be happier!

Decent accommodation and great location, but missed attention to details

Overall, my colleagues and I had a decent stay at this property - we had to book it last minute since our previous accommodation was unexpectedly cancelled. The location was nice and proximity to the beach was great. However, the pillows and some of the mattresses were very uncomfortable. There was also limited cookware in the kitchen, and what was available was quite dirty and of poor quality. It was the small things that stood out, as we had expected such comforts would have been provided, especially considering the rental rate. Otherwise, the hosts were responsive when attending to any service requests and we would generally recommend this apartment to others.

Great vacation house experience

A good place for our family to meet up. Perfect since we didn’t have littles, (all hard floors and open staircase.) A couple min walk to a beautiful beach. TVs set up with just about every streaming service and channel you can think of. No AC as listed but fans in every room and Newport weather is great. Parts of the home show its age but we weren’t worried about that. Would stay here again.

Great location, easy process. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful last minute weekend in Newport Beach. After a minor misunderstanding on my part, (which the property manager helped me with right away with kindness, patience and grace!) we had a very smooth check in process. The door code was very easy to use and really reduced the usual panic over keys, made it so easy for my kids to come and go to use the restroom while we were at the beach. The house is a perfect beach vacation rental. All tile throughout the house gives the house a very clean feeling which can definitely be lost on a carpeted beach house. The windows all opened for a great breeze. The couch being leather like material was nice to for easy cleanup. TV’s all over were easy to use and nice so everyone could retreat to watch movies after a long day on the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything worked, supplies were exactly what we needed. Great experience all around! Thank you!!

Perfection

My family decided to get this property last minute for my sister-in-law‘s graduation and I cannot think of a better place for all of us to hang out at. The location to the beach was phenomenal as well as it was within walking distance to anything that you could think of. Can’t wait for our next summer vacation that we plan, this one is at the top of the list.

Spring break

Great space close to the beach in a fairly quiet neighborhood. We were there for spring break so there were college age kids around but the noise level was respected in this area. I emailed the property manager and did not receive a response back. Since the issue was not an emergency requiring a response I didn’t call. A great addition to the property would be access to bikes.

Last minute spring break trip

We decided last minute that our 13, 10, and 7 year old kids needed to get away, even if just for a couple days. So glad this was available, 3 beach days was just what the dr ordered for us!

Newport Beach Rocks!!!

Property was overall Great for my family. My wife and I brought all of our kids and some family friends too. Price point and property matched perfectly. I've had cheaper and it was not as nice. We've also paid more and stayed on the sand. This property was easy to check into and out of. Toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, plates, silverware, towels, hose (to rinse off sand), and everything worked great. PSA: I grew up in CA and played a lot at the beach. As I've gone to beach rentals through the years I've seen some people try to boogie board in areas where its just not safe! Do Not Boogie board when waves are crashing on the sand. That will send you to the ER and ruin your trip. Walk down to 32nd street (or close to that area). Find smaller waves that are breaking out in the ocean. not on shore. Have fun!!!

Great location

This had plenty of space for our family of 8! Loved that every room had a ceiling fan and a box fan for those warm times during day. Perfect location and walkway straight to the beach. Brandon, property manager, was quick to address any of our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved Our Stay, Unit Needs a Refresh

We had a great fourth of July week with our family. The location was perfect, the unit was spacious, and it was great spending time on the patio. That said, the unit had some issues: The dryer was broken, the listing included a sleep sofa which didn't exist, the couch was dirty, the master bedroom ceiling fan didn't work (we knew the unit didn't have A/C, so the fan would have been appreciated), the ice cube maker didn't work (no trays, either). In a sense, the unit needs an update and this is an initial punch list. That said, the management company was very responsive, they arranged to have our laundry done, and tried to offer solutions. And, we loved our week at Newport Beach!!!
