Peninsula Point is one of Newport’s most quaint and picturesque neighborhoods! This one-story home is just two short blocks from beach relaxation and beauty. This stretch of beach is home to the famous surfing spot, The Wedge and has unobstructed views of Catalina and the Pacific Ocean. Don’t be surprised if you see dolphins and whales swimming offshore during their feeding time during your stay. It is in walking distance of Balboa Pier where there are a variety of shops, recreational boat tours and water toys, small markets, and restaurants. If you prefer to stay home and relax this home has an enclosed private back patio with a gas barbecue, 2 cozy lounge areas, one with gas fire pit and a dining area with table and seating for eight.
LIVING & DINING
Enter through a Dutch door into an open and airy living room with a comfortable couch and armchair. It is a relaxing area to watch TV, listen to music (Sonos sound system throughout the house and patio) and enjoy the ambiance of the gas fireplace. There is central Air Conditioning if the sea breeze is not enough for you.
Beyond the living room is a small dining area and upscale kitchen with marble counters throughout. There is a table with chairs that seats four and additional counter seating for three at the kitchen island. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to have a casual or elegant dining experience.
BED & BATH
The first bedroom is light filled with a skylight and 2 long twin beds. It is diagonally across from the hallway bathroom. The middle bedroom has a queen bed, and the Master bedroom has a queen bed, flat screened smart TV and an ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms have luxury bedding, area rugs, closets and window shades.

OUTDOOR SPACES
The entrance to the home is through a gate and private walkway. There is floor to ceiling windows at the rear of the home with French doors leading out to the private patio area. The patio has a gas BBQ kitchen area with a small refrigerator, large gas fire pit with 2 cozy seating areas and a large wooden table that seats 8.
The garage is available for full laundry, coolers, towels, beach chairs, umbrella, popup, 2 children's boogie boards and assorted beach games and 2 adult bicycles with gears.
Street parking but there is additional room for a mid-size car in garage.
The home is wheelchair accessible being on one level with a small step down from the patio.
THE LOCATION
Family friendly neighborhood but convenient to lots of fun. Just a few short blocks to the beach, harbor, or boardwalk to The Balboa Pier and beyond. The pier has plenty to keep you busy with recreational rentals, shopping, dining/bars, Fun Zone games and Ferris wheel. Catch a ride on the Balboa Ferry with your car, on bike or on foot. It is a five-minute ride across the harbor to Balboa Island where there are more beautiful beach homes and boats, markets, restaurants, and shops to enjoy.
