”We had a great time. Everything was as listed. House was very clean and comfortable. We liked it so much that we booked another stay. House is close to two nice State Parks where we hiked and tubed! Fast responses from the host. Highly recommend!”

”Our family had a lovely time at Walker Creek. We enjoyed the spacious house, ate family dinners at the dining table, and played several games of pool in the game room. My husband and son fished every morning using the kayak, canoe, or just walking into the creek. The property is beautiful and peaceful. On our last morning there, my son was fishing, of course, and saw four otters swimming in the creek. They were so curious about what he was doing. It was a great family getaway!”

”The cottage is as described, comfortable and big. The train is a bit noisy but earplugs do the trick - shower hot, excellent pressure, and extraordinary stars on a clear night. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you, Shaena! ”

”Staying at the Tranquil Retreat has been so much nicer than staying at a hotel. Plenty of space for 3 adults and we really appreciated the upgraded amenities, including the wonderfully comfortable beds. Great, well stocked kitchen, very easy to prepare a meal and nice to have a washer and dryer. This is our second stay here to visit our daughter, and we will certainly be back.”

Things worth mentioning 1st- The kitchen was well stocked, they offered 3 crockpots, blender, large toaster oven, plenty of dishes and utensils, Kcup and coffee pot option and a nice size cupboard next to the refrigerator to store all your food and paper products. 2nd-plenty of hand and body towels along with washcloths. 3rd-the game room is perfect for the teens including all the classic games for us older folks!4th-The outside area is...

”Great Lakefront House. The room layout is unique but it worked for our group (3 families in town for a travel baseball tournament). Great access to fishing and kayaks and plenty of room to have a group meal. The kids and families had a great time.”

”This was the perfect house for our family for our daughter’s VT graduation! First and foremost, it was extremely clean and tidy. The owner left snacks, paper products and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked with all essential supplies, and the basement/game room was a hit. We would 100% stay here again; it is a beautiful house! ”

”Beautiful lake house with a gorgeous view. The weather was too chilly to enjoy the outdoor space fully but the dock and porches are awesome! The house is super clean and we love the decor. Everything looked fresh and new. A few tricky things- the master is down a very narrow spiral staircase. It’s difficult to carry coffee or anything really and walk down the steps. And the noise from upstairs travels down the staircase since there isn’t a door to close for the master. The bathroom on the main...
