”Cosy retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. Simplistic but everything we needed. Beautiful walks. Great and safe for our elderly dog who enjoyed the freedom. Good location to visit lochs etc.”

”Beautiful place, very relaxing and quirky. Owner is so lovely and sociable. Stayed in Bluebelle which was a great experience . Bluebelle is solar powered, unfortunately with the lack of sunshine in Scotland we didn’t have light however the owner provided us with plenty candles and was very hospitable. Only small thing was the wooden slates at mattress are covered in fluff and hair, more attention is needed to clean the nooks and crannies However apart from that what a wonderful stay! :)”

”Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!”

”We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks...
