”We were in Dunoon to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a great time made all the better by our stay at Douglas park guest house. Ken, our host made us very welcome, good breakfast selection, I had the salmon. very clean and comfortable, no complaints; would recommend a stay at Douglas park 👍”

”I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was amazing and Julie & Wilson are very welcoming. The breakfast routine is simple, pick a time, what you want to eat and prepare to be wowed. The bed was very comfy and little touches like hot chocolate in the room, very much appreciated. I used the hotel as a base for my exploration of the west coast.”

”The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The only thing we were woken up early with a lot of noise of other rooms being cleaned and after being at a family wedding the night before we were hoping for a little more rest the following morning. But apart from that it was a good stay.”

”Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!”

”We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks...
