”Check in was a major issue, hosts did not know we were coming so the gate was locked and the apartment was not prepared yet. We had to sit outside the gate and wait for them to throw sheets on the beds; towels were delivered later. On the 2nd night they did not realize we were returning and again had to gate closed. Beware their dogs do bite as my husband and I both got bit. They do have a dryer which was a plus. The unit is okay, beds were fairly comfortable.”

”The host didn’t give me the entrance code unless I asked of it. And when the gave me the access code it was a wrong code and a wrong telephone number for the contact person in case you have questions. We arrived late around 10 pm and trying to put the access code and it didn’t work. I called the number that the gave me and it was a wrong number, number didn’t get through, tried putting 0 before the number, still didn’t worked. ”Didn't receive the instructions on how to get in until day 2. So we booked another place for the first night. I booked this through wotif thinking it was a hotel room, but apparently it is through VRBO, and they have a clandestine method of sharing information and no check in desk. Would not use again. This needs to be made clear to possible purchasers prior to booking. Seething about this, what a waste of money”

”Read the fine print - windows are optional apparently. While the bed was comfortable and we slept well, apparently there are windowless options with this hotel. Room was clean however the tile floor felt "greasy" almost like there was too much cleaning product used. I am so thankful I packed slippers. Staff were friendly enough - good luck driving to drop off our luggage, it took us 40 mins to find a route that was open. Its best to park at the mall / shopping centre across the river and...

Parhaat hotelliarvostelut kohteessa Newtownabbey

Moxy Belfast City

8/10 Hyvä

"The location of the hotel was very convenient, with most of the main attractions and the central railway station within easy reach. Overall, the hotel offers reasonable value for money. A nice touch was the welcome drinks available in the lobby. The staff also provided a list of recommended restaurants and attractions, which was helpful and appreciated. The breakfast was nothing particularly special, but it was perfectly adequate and a good way to start the day. Another positive was the 12:00 checkout time, which is more convenient than the 11:00 checkout that seems to be increasingly common. One thing worth keeping in mind is luggage storage. It may come with an additional charge, and larger suitcases could have difficulty fitting into the luggage lockers located in the lobby."
