”This is a fairly new, smallish hotel. The room and beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff, if I remember correctly, cleaned the room every other day, which was fine for us. The room with 2 queen beds is long and narrow, with a useful seating area at one end but not much storage, and a bit of a tight squeeze between the bed and the desk. Bathroom is nice and clean. ”The lampshade was broken in a few places wouldn’t stay upright. The bedspread had a stain and was torn. There were many flies in the room. Dead roaches on the floor. TV had to be turned on by staff, if turned off then on again no reception. Towels very small, no bath size towels. Bed had sheet but no mattress cover, uncomfy. Room smelled like smoke even though I requested non smoking. Nothing was maintained-all very low standard. Did have frig & microwave I didn’t try or use.”

”The folks at Sens Hotel were so helpful and kind. I canceled one room on Expedia 48 hours before, but it didn't show up as canceled for Hotel Sens', or on Expedia for that matter. Sens canceled the room on their end, then Expedia showed the upcoming refund. The folks at Sens were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back. The hotel is right in the middle of North Berkeley's foodie row.”
