”When we checked in, the front desk lady was friendly and welcoming and knew exactly who I was, probably because I was the last check-in for the night. I appreciated feeling like I was expected and someone was paying attention. The bed was fantastic! The mattress was firm but comfy, the sheets were clean and fresh, and the pillows were thick and deep. I love that they use duvets, so there are no gross blankets and comforters. I slept really well. ”Stayed at Extended Stay America Suites – Fremont – Newark and had a very disappointing experience. The property looks nothing like the photos on Expedia, everything felt outdated, dirty, and had a strong unpleasant smell. The room furniture was worn out and torn, and the bathroom looked poorly maintained. Our first room had a window that wouldn’t close and thin shades that let in too much light, making it hard to sleep. We requested a room change but were asked to “adjust” multiple times....

”I always thought of extended stay as a nice place. It seemed like there was a lot of low lifes staying in this hotel and possibly living there. It ruined the vibe for me. They make you sign a paper saying that if you park your car here it must actually be a working vehicle. Thats a red flag for me. Made me wonder if they actually have losers like that staying here. The shower head in my room sucks. It sprays in all these directions except not much on me. Trying to rinse off is a challenge. Guess...
