One staff member spoke excellent English, and even the Japanese-speaking staff were very helpful, assisting us by calling our next hotel in Kaga Onsen to arrange a pick-up bus. Kävelymatka (ja kaunis reitti) keskeisiin nähtävyyksiin. Kannattaa huomata, että peseytyminen on ryokanin omassa onsenissa.”

”The property was well maintained, very clean, the decor was minimalist and very nicely designed. The laundry room was very useful (and popular with guests in the evenings), the 2 tea tables on the 3rd and 5th floor were often empty and peaceful for sitting and enjoying the free tea. My only issue was that we didn't get the expected room upgrade at check-in for Expedia Gold VIP status even though it looked like larger rooms were still available on the website.”
