”For someone who wants the experience of a full five star hotel luxury amenities and service — Vidago Palace is your choice. Starting with the greeting at the royal entrance of the palace and exceptional reception service and ending with the spa treatments everything makes you feel like royalty😂 Not to mention their excellent breakfast and a Michelin star dinner we had for a special occasion. And of course a magic park surrounding the palace.”

”A Beautiful hotel with very good renovation and splendid breakfast. We were a bit disspponted to get to know that the pool wasn’t available though the weather was sunny and warm”

”Calme, très jolie.”

”First of all big thanks to Tony, Marco and Ana. Although the Casa itself is excellent, you 3 make it so much more :) Your hospitality and personal service made us feel like part of your family. Everything just works. Great room, awesome views, nice breakfast and delicious dinner with local wines. If your staying here, please also check their tours. We took the 1 day Douro tour and it was beautiful.”

”Overall, the place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly. However, there were a couple of issues that made the stay disappointing. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room for the entire stay, which was inconvenient. One of the main reasons we booked this property was to use the saunas, but unfortunately they never got hot enough to really enjoy. That took away from what we were expecting from the experience. It’s a nice place with potential, but I hope these issues...

”We loved the stay at this beautiful Casa!! In total we can only recommend as we enjoyed everything and the owners were really nice!”

”Amazing place! Great buffet breakfast and also an option to have the breakfast on the barrel terrace. The only minus was that I was travelling with a friend and requested to have two separate blankets. There was an extra in the closet but no cover to it. When calling again to ask for the separate blanket we were broaght 4 extra sheets but still no cover to the extra blanket. (The barrels seem to be more for couples travelling but it would be nice if the hotel would accomodate for others as well...

”Very good, clean, neat, attractive property with comfortable beds, high quality furniture and plumbing, a small library, elaborate coffee machine, etc. Staff was very polite and helpful, and assisted with check-in. I'd very gladly stay here again! Excellent location, it is an easy walk to restaurants.”
