”Roomy, clean and quiet room in the middle of a suburban. Not much to see or do there within walking distance. If you have a car, location is ok. Kitchen was pretty well equipped. Friendly staff.”

”We stayed in the Esplanade hotel for three nights. The location was perfect to us: 12 minutes from the Auckland CBD by a ferry, still away from the noisy centre. The neighborhood of the Esplanade is really very cozy. There are nice beaches around and Mount Victoria is a place worth visiting. The hotel itself offers very good service and the restaurant is very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was positive and professional, we enjoyed our stay in the Esplanade very much.”

”Rooms were clean and spacious and well laid out. My room was by the road and I thought it would be noisy but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was at night. The Hotel is well within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. I thought it was good value for money. Would definitely stay again”

”We stayed here as part of a larger group. Simon is fantastic with communication and accommodating to our needs. We were able to organise a buffet dinner for our large group which was delicious. The resort itself is a bit dated but suited our needs having family, couples and single rooms available with everyone having a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This was our second time staying as a large group.”

”Good location. Hotel quite outdated. No restaurant open or breakfast available. Price cheap so a lot is forgiven for that. Gym was ok, pool not good for swimming but doable. ”
