”Wonderful views of the harbour from some suites. Congenial hosts. Bus transport close by, a three minute walk to Bayswater ferry but a long walk to shops. Insuite laundry challenging to use. Otherwise well worth it. I have stayed twice and will return ”

”This is our 2nd stay and we were going to a concert at Spark arena which is only a 15 min drive away. Conveniently located for Takapuna and Auckland city centre.”

”My sister and I stayed here for 3 weeks - this is our second time at Aristotles (our first stay was 2 years ago) - and we were impressed with the friendly customer service and facilities. Last time the elevator was being repaired, so we were delighted it worked well this time, since we were on the top floor! Our rooms were clean, well maintained and spacious, with the kitchenette a plus. The close proximity to restaurants, supermarket, shops, bus stop into the city (all within walking...

”I thought it was a nice motel to stay, was only there for a nigh.t, room was really clean but it had a weird smell, but still nice and clean. The next time i book i would like to try the sun facing rooms or upstairs as it was a bit cold and dark where we stayed, the lady at reception was also very nice and i like that you opened your door with the last 4 digits of your phone number, Thanks WAVE, appreciated our one night stay”

”We stayed in the Esplanade hotel for three nights. The location was perfect to us: 12 minutes from the Auckland CBD by a ferry, still away from the noisy centre. The neighborhood of the Esplanade is really very cozy. There are nice beaches around and Mount Victoria is a place worth visiting. The hotel itself offers very good service and the restaurant is very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was positive and professional, we enjoyed our stay in the Esplanade very much.”

”Good location. Hotel quite outdated. No restaurant open or breakfast available. Price cheap so a lot is forgiven for that. Gym was ok, pool not good for swimming but doable. ”
