Welcome to A Haven Away! Our home has 4 bedrooms (2 king beds + 2 queen beds). 2 mins to the beach, restaurants, and wetlands. We have a private, landscaped backyard perfect for dining and lounging.

We provide beach passes, beach gear, games, a Pack & Play, and tips for jet ski rentals and day trips. The shed has a huge Smart TV. Fully-equipped kitchen. Single-story living with 2 bedrooms, accessible shower on the ground floor.

Details:

Gorgeous, recently renovated 4 bedroom house with four large bedrooms (two on the ground floor and two upstairs) and 3 full bathrooms (one has a bench and grab bar). Use the house as your base for local activities- including fishing, sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, biking and more. North Beach has everything and this is the perfect spot to enjoy it all!

Host dinners outside at home using our fully equipped kitchen and our large patio table under the stars, or choose from our list of recommended restaurants or local activities. Relax afterwards on the front porch or back-deck (with smokeless firepit); chill out on the beanbags in our secret library that kids love; or even burn it all off with yoga or on the bike in our exercise room!

The house can sleep 8 adults (two king beds and two queens). With 3 full bathrooms there is plenty of room for everyone. North Beach is close to big cities like Washington, DC and Baltimore- but feels a million miles away. You'll head home refreshed, relaxed and happy!

Pets

We allow reliably house-trained dogs for a $25 pet fee per dog per night for stays under 7 nights. If you want to bring your dog, please let us know:

- If they are 100% reliably house-trained
- The dog's age

We must approve their stay, but we have never rejected a reliably house-trained dog that meets this criteria. We do not allow cats or puppies.

We would really appreciate it if you could bathe your dog before visiting.

** If you're not a pet person, note that we are very good at keeping our homes super clean despite hosting pets.

Our group of 6 found the property comfortable, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the large dining table for us all to sit around for late night laughs. The house offered plenty of cozy areas for time apart, reading and relaxing. The host was very informative and responsive.

Lovely beach location with everything you need!

We were only there for one night, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The shed was adorable. The house was well decorated and had everything we could’ve needed. The location is close to everything. We walked to the water in the morning and enjoyed breakfast and coffee from the cutest little shop a few blocks away. I highly recommend staying here! Super adorable!!
The house even has a book that outlines are really great walking or running route which we took advantage of!

Absolutely beautiful and spacious home perfectly located in North Beach. Very peaceful area and close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Perfect Place!

Great location, very clean, lots of space for all. Came here for a short getaway with my fiancé and our pup. Our first time in the area, the home is conveniently situated near waterfront, restaurants, shopping, and nature trails all within walking. Neighborhood is quiet, and well lit for safety during evening walks. Home has beautifully appointed decor and could not have been more clean and organized. Kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials and more. Plenty of games and books. I enjoyed that the TV is located in the auxiliary shed, which kept us focused on spending quality time, yet still provides a cozy space to unwind with a movie later. Hosts communication is stellar, even though ours lacks a bit as we ignore our phones as much as possible. Greatly enjoyed our stay in this home and will certainly book again if in the area.

Home Away From Home

A lovely home. Excellent hosts. Comfortable, welcoming, clean and everything you need or want. The TV in the auxiliary building was perfect for watching games while others conversed inside. We will stay again when we can. Easy access parking.

Relaxing vacation spot!

This was the PERFECT vacation spot for our family! We felt welcomed from the get go by the hosts, Nadia and Blair. The house itself is beautifully kept and a great layout for families. We have six - five who are adults), and all had their own spaces and bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare any meals, and the grocery store was under 20 minutes away. The town itself and the beach were within walking distance from the house, and it was lovely, low key, and the folks there were very nice. It wasn't overrun with tourists, and while the beach isn't a swimming kind of beach, we were able to kick back relax, and play some volleyball in the water and hunt for shells as it wasn't super crowded. I would highly recommend this property - we are picky about where we stay, and the owners did a fabulous job of taking care of us as well as making us feel at home from start to finish! Family Gathering

We had the most amazing week at A Haven Away! Reading on the porch or patio during the day and games every night with super comfy beds for a fantastic nights sleep! Downstairs rooms were perfect for the grandparents! All our needs were met and then some! Highly recommend!

Great Getaway

Relaxing Dog-Friendly Get-Away

Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and full of amenities, this house was a vacation in and of itself. Everyone found their favorite spot and had a relaxing time, whether in the lofted library area or the backyard shed with the enormous tv and cozy sectional perfect for watching movies or March Madness. We appreciated the dog-friendly aspect, with the fenced front (and back) yards and the close proximity to the nature preserve trail and boardwalk.

Great spot

Stayed here for a wedding that was 15 minutes away. It was perfect! Clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated. Nadia was very attentive to anything we needed - which wasn't much but she gave us lots of advice of places to walk to for coffee, lunch, beach etc. North Beach is a very cute area. If we ever were in that area again I'd definitely book this again.
