”A comfortable, lovely stay in a picturesque part of rural Connecticut. They served a delicious breakfast in a beautifully appointed dining room in the historic main house. A thoroughly delightful experience.”

”Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great (love that homemade yogurt) and Laura, the innkeeper, was lovely. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back.”

”I needed to leave after checking in because they lost power and there was no running water, and no electricity/no air conditioning, and it was 90 degrees out. I want a refund.”

”Room smelled awful and the blanket was so dated. We ended up driving home 1 1/2 hours rather than stay the night. Very sleazy.”

”We enjoyed our visit to the Inn. It was close to all the events, Tanglewood, and destinations, hiking and waterfall, we wanted to explore.”

”This is a quiet, no frills place. It’s hard to find a reasonably priced motel in the Berkshires in-season and this is it. Fancy it is not. Stylish, also no. But it was clean and the mattresses were comfortable.”

”The phone number for the motel was disconnected. We could not contact the motel. The bathroom was so small even a slender person has to bend and twist to try to shut the door. There was no hairdryer. The sounds of the Thruway required earplugs. They knew we were coming, they could've turned on the AC so that it had fresh air. Although, obviously, great attempts were made to make it cozy and comfortable, it is not suitable for some people.”

”Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice.”

”Clean and modestly but tastefully appointed room on the smaller side but comfortable. Room felt a bit humid on arrival due to dripping bathroom faucet that hasn’t been closed properly. Fixed quickly by running the a/c on dry mode. No complaints!”
