First, I would like to say that the woman at the front desk was very kind & did her best to accommodate us. However, I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the rooms.Upon initially entering the first room we were assigned, we did not even step inside because the floor was extremely dirty. I immediately returned to the front to report the issue. The staff member apologized & explained that they were short-staffed & under new ownership, then reassigned us to the room next door. She kindly walked with me to ensure the television was working. At a quick glance, the floor appeared acceptable, and we left to attend our reservations.When we returned later & used the bathroom, I noticed the toilet was dirty with visible hair on it, & the roll of toilet paper was nearly empty, indicating it had not been replaced after the previous guest. When I opened the fridge, it was also in very poor condition, with sticky residue throughout. I had to clean it myself before storing our belongings.Additionally, all of the pillowcases had black stains on them. Fortunately, I bring my own bedding. We also experienced repeated issues with the room key cards not working. Each time we returned to the room, the keys failed & had to be reactivated at the front desk. This happened at least twice.This experience was especially disappointing because we have stayed at Green Granite for the past 10 years & have never encountered issues like this before.
