Walk 50 feet from your front door and have your morning coffee on your very own private sandy beach - directly on Lake Erie! In the evenings, enjoy breathtaking SUNSETS while relaxing around the bonfire, enjoying both fire & water at the same time.

This lakefront cottage features an open architecture with six large windows facing the lake. It comes with all new stainless appliances, gas stoned fireplace, new attitude towards life, plus spacious laundry room. Rest & relax in the exceptionally large bedroom with full view of Erie Ocean. Stone steps, laced with ivy, lead to wooded backyard garden area with patio overlooking Lake Erie. There is only 2% of PA shoreline that is NOT on a bluff, this cottage is a part of that 2%. Being an automatic member of the Orchard Beach Association, we are lucky co-owners of 1/3 of a mile of our own private water/beachfront shoreline. Not to brag, but we even have a bridge that looks over our very own waterfall, local soaring EAGLES, plus three acres of beautifully wooded parkland that includes a hiking trail through the forest (And DONT forget about the award winning SUNSETS!) This cottage is picture perfect for writers, musicians, artists and lake lovers!

Located on the “Lake Erie Wine Trail” and nestled within the prestigious and beautiful Welch’s vineyards that grow along the shores of Lake Erie, you have your choice of over 25 local wineries to choose from. For fishermen/women, the famous Freeport 16 mile creek is within walking distance. For boaters, the North East marina is only 5 miles away and offers an excellent boat launch. Presque Isle State Park known as PA's "seashore" is a 20 mile drive and offers swimming, hiking and cycling, along with lighthouse tours. This cottage is 5 miles from the historic downtown North East with restaurants, local grocery store and shopping. There is nowhere else that you can go to have vineyards and what seems to be the ocean all in one setting in the PA area. Everyday is just another day here in paradise!

Perfect cottage for two
We really enjoyed staying here for the eclipse weekend. The host, Elizabeth, was so helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was spotless just the right size. There were so many extra little touches that made the stay memorable: an extra toothbrush when I realized I forgot mine, a welcome bag with snacks, as well a filled fridge and cupboards, and even starter wood and lighter for the firepit. We would definitely recommend. Fred was very quiet and stood guard in the br all night so we felt safe. :-) (So as not to scare potential renters off, Fred is a full-size suit of armor) One thing I’m surprised no one mentioned…there were a LOT of personal items in the bedroom drawers and closets which I’ve never seen in a rental bf. It added character to the place which we appreciated but we weren’t sure if we were allowed to touch any of it or why it was there. Overall, one of the best stays we can remember. The eclipse was amazing and so was our stay.

Wonderful!
This is a lovingly maintained, well-equipped cottage on a quiet part of the lakefront. We stayed there for the total eclipse and weren’t disappointed in the accommodations or the eclipse! Lovely sunset, too. The hosts could teach a course on how to be an ideal VRBO host. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality are superb. Hope to return soon!

Magical Wedding Day
We saw this property when we were in search of a semi-private but beautiful location for our wedding. This cottage caught our eye immediately. We booked nearly 8 months in advanced because we had to have it. The host was so responsive and so accommodating for us. She sent plenty of information, pictures, and videos in advance. When we arrived the check-in was easy as can be. The neighbors were so friendly as we prepared for the ceremony. The property it’s self was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. It’s so cute from the decor to the scenery. The host really goes above and beyond. We will hopefully be back in the near future. Maybe for our 1 year anniversary. The view is phenomenal! The atmosphere is serene. This cottage is a MUST book. It feels like you’re at the ocean.

Exceeded all expectations
This cottage was like "glamping"..... just absolutely stunning inside and the property managers were absolutely fabulous to work with! They were very thorough and timely with information and checking in with me to make sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will definately be back!
