”I was desperate to love this place. How cool to be able to stay in something like that? First, there was an issue with my reservation. So the owner wasn't really prepared for us. It looks like they are in full construction mode so the area wasn't as neat as could be. His workers had music playing next to our dome, but he addressed it when we texted. There should be a curtain for the door. We make a makeshift one. The tv was missing the remote. The owner addressed it quickly. Unfortunately...

”My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!”

”On-site parking, very close to restaurants and highways. Old property, also offered complimentary breakfast for last day, not many options though.”

”The photos on the website do NOT accurately represent the rooms. The rooms are OK but very dated, with peeling wallpaper, lack of electrical outlets, old curtains, windows, etc. It is a lessoned learned that what you see on the internet is NOT what you always get.”

”Everything was great! I was doing the Cabot Trail in early season and were happy they were open, friendly and right by the Tim Hortons! I had a nice stay and the shower head was great. WiFi worked too.”
