”This is basic, but also the smell was disgusting. Every time I walked into my room there was a wall of wet carpet/wet dog smell. What was beyond frustrating was I had to compromise my privacy to get fresh air in there. That is to say, the windows were sealed shut, and the only way to get any air in was have my door open.
