”We have been coming to Schroon Lake every year for over 40 years. This was our first stay at the Maple Leaf Motel. We only stayed one night, but the accommodations were perfect for our stay. ”A very nice remodel of a motor court motel with all new interior, heating, and plumbing. Comfortable with large TV and nice beds. Very clean. Future additions might include a microwave oven, coffee cups for the coffee maker, and some wall decor. Overall, a very nice room for basecamp to local adventures..”

”The apartment was wonderful. Clean, spacious, and well equipped with all the necessities. The bed was comfortable. We did not make it to the restaurant and bar, or talk to any staff, but everything needed is sent by the owner via text before you arrive. ”

”Room was well designed and very clean. The included breakfast was well. Gym at the hotel is average and typical for a hotel like this one. Dumbbells only go up to 50lbs. Staff is super friendly and the whole check-in and checkout experience was good overall. Option to request services if desired. Would recommend this hotel for long and short stays. ”

”Kitchen was fully equipped and the heating kept the room comfortable. Electric fireplace added ambiance and added warmth. Rocking chairs provided a comfrtable place to relax.”

”When I checked in, the front desk helped me resolve an issue with my reservation made through Expedia. However, I was told over the phone before my arrival that breakfast was included, but it turned out breakfast is only served on weekends. Due to this discrepancy, I cannot give a 5-star rating.”

After waiting, we had no choice but to find and check ourselves into an unoccupied room. Additionally, none of the usual amenities were available: the restaurant and bar were not operating. The next morning, a staff member admitted they had “forgotten” to leave...

”Amazing hotel with gorgeous huge lobby area for hanging out and playing cards. Pool and hot tub were so nice after a day of skiing. Pub next door is phenomenal with great specials. Ten mins to whiteface and easy walking to downtown and many restaurants. ”
