”The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

”The location was great the lake was across the street the hotel was ok but I felt it was geared towards skiing and not enough variety for restaurants mainly hamburgers and pizza. The restaurant Rosie’s is so awesome food was delicious and a big variety to choose from Shopping was great a lot of shops in walking distance”

”Lake Tahoe on aivan mahtava pikkukaupunki. Kuvankauniit maisemat ja kompakti. Basecamp oli siisti - ei mitaan valitettavaa”

”The room next door had a bath tub spa which was up against my rooms bed headboard When the spa tub was turned the noise and vibration was like a jet liner sitting on top of my room. This crazy load noise and vibration went on for and hour, before the folks next door turned it off. Then I was able to get to sleep. Terrible noise problem with spa tub.”

”BEWARE! If you are booking through a third party, the fees are NOT the same as what is advertised. And management does not address any issues. Was charged the most that I’ve ever been charged for a pet cleaning fee, and the room had dog hair on the headboard when we checked in. It’s completely outdated, old TVs, no device charging setups. It looks as if the last time they put money into upgrades was over 10 years ago. It is not a good value. KEEP DRIVING!!! There are way better accommodations...

”Owner was very pleasant and worked with me after an extremely long drive and allowed me to check in earlier than expected. Great stop and easy to walk to the beach. Liked the vintage feel of the property but some areas around the bed could be cleaned better”
