Enjoy this cozy, clean, simple, contemporary two bedroom vacation rental with all the amenities including a kitchen wi-fi Internet, television, and on-site laundry facilities. This listing sleeps 5 adults comfortably.
Now featuring a unique beach bedroom cabin with queen bed and a view that is beyond priceless. Its directly above a tidal lagoon. Whether it's laying in bed watching the wildlife or taking your relaxing morning coffee on the deck and watching the crabs move about just under the deck , this place is sure to make your stay memorable! ( Note: 1 bathroom inside the suite)
Take a break from the bustle, get out in nature, hike, swim, and explore the beach, lagoon, and uninhabited islands.
There are 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards and a little row boat for guests to use during your stay. (use at your own risk). It is a delightful area to paddle around and check out the local wildlife etc.
Conveniently close to YCD airport if your flight is changed or delayed!

Amazing location and views!
There is nothing like getting your coffee and walking out to the gazebo and watching the early boats, gulls, and maybe a seal or two, if you're lucky. Kayaks are right on the deep water dock, and the most amazing waters to kayak (or SUP) on. We went around the island, and across to Ladysmith itself. This is a quiet location, about 10 minutes into Ladysmith. An easy reach to Nanaimo or Duncan if you want to go further. Lots of farms and artists around. And endless trails to hike. At low tide, you can cross over to the island if you want a little adventure. The tide is full out once a day, and only partially out on the other low tide. This makes planning expeditions much easier. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and you really can't find another waterfront location like this one.

Ferienwohnung mit Traumlage
Vermutlich ist die Lage dieser Ferienwohnung eine der schönsten auf Vancouver Island: Näher am Wasser kann man nicht sein. Chris und Christine sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die bei Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar waren. Wir waren zu viert. Dafür war die Wohnung eigentlich etwas klein. Da wir aber hervorragendes Wetter hatten und wir immer draußen gegessen haben, machte das nichts aus. Insgesamt war es für uns aufgrund der Lage und der gesamten Atmosphäre ein großartiger Urlaub.

Excellent experience, I am always a little apprehensive with units attached to the owners property but Chris and Christine have this set up perfectly! Was 100 percent my own space, beautiful views and excellent hosts. 10/10. Will be back!

Happy Holiday
We had a truly lovely stay at Trails End. The location is stunning and the apartment had everything you could need for a two week stay. When not out sightseeing there is plenty to do 'at home' from swimming off the dock to wildlife watching. Chris and Christine were both helpful and friendly hosts and the Sunset cruise was a particular highlight.

Great place to explore the area! Very clean and comfortable Very comfortable bed and full kitchen area which we used. Loved the private patio where we ate breakfast daily. We had a great meal at the neighboring marina, and loved downtown Ladysmith Main Street. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Nice gardens with tons of birds around and nice views!! Thanks.
