”The room was ok, comfortable for the three nights we stayed. The bathroom was dated and the “toilet” was loose making for an exciting personal time. Carole on bfast duty was awesome, her happy disposition making any morning a great morning!”

”Staff were great, room was spacious and clean. Bed were soft so I was worried but I slept really well. While it is dated, I have no complaints, everything was good. Breakfast was basic but hey free breakfast. If in Nanaimo again, will stay again. 😁”

”Such a charming bed and breakfast! Gorgeous view of the ocean and the property was in a well kept neighbourhood. The host was absolutely warm and welcoming. Made my boyfriend and I feel at home. We stayed one night , so it was a brief, but pleasant stay. Breakfast was so good! Will come back in the future for sure.”

”Our room was very small but it had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and it was very quiet at night. There were plates and cups along with the grudge and microwave. We didn’t use them but it was nice to know they were there. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again.”

”The view was nice and the property / room was great for my family.”

”As always, staying at The Spot in Nanaimo was a wonderful experience. The place was super clean and well-stocked, and the staff were as lovely as ever.”

My only critique is that while the couch is technically a pull out that can accommodate another two people, it is not worth sleeping on, as is. With a mattress topper it would be fine, but it's hellishly lumpy without. Otherwise a beautiful stay! I would absolutely stay there again, just not with...

”Clean room, free drip coffee and discount on breakfast, food was excellent. Staff we're kind and helpful.”
